Great Wool Jumper

I am about 41 inch chest and bought this in large. It fits a bit big on me but I am hoping it will shrink a little in the wash. I probably would have been better with medium size. The colour (sea foam green) is unusual but I like it and goes well with jeans. The jumper is not thick and is more of a lightweight lambswool. I paid £29.90 for it so well worth the money. A word of warning, make sure to store the jumper in a securely sealed cover as moths will also love the jumper, home in on it to lay their eggs and their larvae will devour it in no time!

NOT machine washable!

Despite being advertised by Amazon as machine washable, the label inside the garment says handwash only in cold water - see picture. As it has only been worn once I don't wish to experiment and will be handwashing, but this is in contraventionof the UK Trade Descriptions Act. Either the Amazon description is wrong or the label is wrong. I won't send it back because it was a gift for a family member, but I feel conned.
Otherwise I like the jumper, but I don't like being lied to - hence the single star.

First impressions were this was a lovely jumper with a good fit which was true to size. It was however slightly itchy so we soaked it in cold water with conditioner, drip dried and to or surprise found it had shrunk. So never actually wore the jumper just returned for refund.

I originally ordered this in an XL which was massive but good quality, so sent for a L instead. What a difference in the quality - this is made in China and is very rough, small and itchy as opposed to the XL which was lovely quality (think it was made in Liepzig), so it's going straight back.

The Goodthreads line is Amazon's mid-level brand (similar to "Amazon Essentials", perhaps a bit better) so do not expect "TOP" quality clothing (which is reflected in the price, very affordable). In fact, the jumper is Made in China, it is quite light, but still shows decent quality and (in my case) a perfect fit, and it is 100% lambswool. I have no complains purchasing Amazon's brands and will keep doing so.

Pills very quickly and loses shape

Liked the colour although darker than photo. The ribbing around the wrists and bottom have not kept their shape making look baggy. The wool also pills very quickly so overall it didn't look new for very long.

It's a little darker than the picture but still really nice, and warm, you can use it on top of a shirt or t-shirt or just by itself.
Pay attention when wash it, preferred to go to the dry laundry
