Great fit, exactly as thought and bought size up. Material is thick and feels more expensive than price would suggest.
Only washed and worn once so will reserve ultimate judgement until time tells.
Great so far though.

This XL white pinpoint weave Oxford shirt is a good body/neck fit for a UK size16, and has enough length in the arms as one might find in a UK 16 1/2. The tails are perhaps an inch or two short when considering the rest of the tailoring. Note that it does not have the usual pocket (where many park their glasses).

The stitching is good and consistent, and there are even two spare buttons, one for each size.

It is a bit tight across a swimmer's shoulders but should be fine for most people with correct BMI.

The washing instructions say a maximum temperature of 30C, and no tumble dry or dry clean, I guess because of the 4% elastane content. It also requires reshaping and ironing when damp. With nowhere to drip dry cotton, this is inconvenient compared with our normal wash routine - machine and tumble and store.

For what should be an ordinary white cotton shirt this extra hassle in the washing definitely loses it a star for me.

I am actually wearing this shirt while reviewing it! I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised by the quality of this shirt. The fabric is heavier in weight than I would have expected, so it hangs really well on the body. The tiny bit of elastane in the blend gives the fabric a little more movement but it is not stretchy. The pinpoint fabric just means that the fabric is woven in such a way to have tiny pinpricks which are only visible up-close.

The fit is good: I have a medium shirt and it fits my 15.5 inch neck and 38 inch chest well. It is not baggy but nor is it stretching or buckling against my body. The shirt is also well sewn and finished: I was expecting to find random loose threads or poorly finished edges, but no, the hems are all neat with flat seams across most of the seams for additional support. Buttons are securely attached and there are no pulls or ragged edges in the sewing - an excellent sewing job over all!

The shirt has also been through the wash and has retained its shape and colour. It also irons very well, I think because the fabric is that little bit heavier and there is that tiny percentage of elastane. Overall, this is a great shirt that I can wear for work with our without a tie; it certainly holds its own against more expensive shirting.

A lovely feeling material and it looks like a quality made item. However sizing considering this is a slim fit one sadly is rather a bit baggy on husband. He is a size 15.5 and 38 chest but when tried on it just looked as though too much material in arms and at shoulders at the back area of them. Such a shame as a well made and lovely coloured white shirt. Made in China normally clothing tends to be on the smaller scale rather than more in it this however seems to be made more for the UK market. Husband loves the colour, style and feel of the fabric but not the sizing aspect. Normally a wearer of slim fit shirts but to both of us this wouldn’t be classed as one of those. Think with most clothing things have to be tried on first to be sure of sizing as the measurements of this sound spot on for him as sizing his down on paper but when on no way.

This shirt is slim fitting and is aimed at the younger figure - unfortunately I do not qualify. The shirt has seven buttons down the front and is cut well over the shoulders and arms. The full length sleeves were also slightly shorter than I would have expected, but that is also a sign of a younger style.
The fabric is good quality and really feels pleasant against the skin. I would recommend this as a good white formal shirt for anyone who suits a slim fit - this is not for anyone who buys 'regular fit' (like me!) Having said that, it isn't the shirt's fault that I am on the chubby side, and it is good quality so I feel that I can recommend it.
