Best Option For New MacBook Pro 2018

I did quite a fair amount of research before purchasing a sleeve for my very expensive and beloved MacBook Pro 2018 with Touch Bar. I even looked at high end brands such as Marc Jacobs and Kinomo but none of them measured up to this. The insides of this feels like a luxury product and this is definitely high quality. Everything else on Amazon looked tacky or poorly made. I love the design with the front zip and the overall robust and sleek feel to this sleeve. I'm so so so glad I stumbled upon this sleeve. Buy it, don't think twice.

The only case that fits properly MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019

I've ordered about 6 cases and returned all of them because they were usually too big when was going for the right size i.e. 15-16". Then tried 13" ones as previously case logic that fit nicely my old MBP 15".
This case however seem to fit almost perfectly hence am keeping it (won't have to get one found on etsy for a £135!). It's got nice padding all around althouigh would add a bit more of it at the bottom (zipper's opposite side). This is the only case that has protection against zipper that can scratch your laptop when the fit is tight. I believe it will do the job much better than any of the previous cases that would protect my new MBP 16" only from scratches but not significant bumps or drops so am nicely surprised.

PERFECT fit for M1 MacBook Air/Pro 13”

I wanted a simple sleeve for my new MacBook Air that was a snug fit - looking around at alternatives many seem to be quite a loose fit for the sleek design of Apple laptops. This product fits perfectly.

Once you’ve put your MacBook in, it’s bordering on being too snug as you have to pull the soft corners of the sleeve over the corners of the MacBook. Doing this stops the zip from coming into contact with the laptop itself which is a nice feature.

In terms of the pocket on the front, the pictures I’ve attached show a charging cable, Magic Mouse, AirPods and power brick - whilst they do all fit I probably wouldn’t leave the uk plug in there for fear of the force of one of the prongs damaging the laptop.

One unexpected bonus/use case is that my 2017 “iPad” (standard model) fits in the front pocket - although the zip won’t do up if I do this, but fine for when placing within a rucksack

2018/2020 12.9" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard + Pencil 2 — yes, it does the job.

Like many people, I have the iPad Pro 12.9" 2020 with the Magic Keyboard *and* Pencil 2, and am using the 13" version of this Tomtoc sleeve [B078SD7XVM] (*not* the 13.5" version of the Tomtoc sleeve [B078SD2STD] !).

1. You can fit the whole lot in this Tomtoc sleeve with the Pencil 2 on top of the iPad, but it is a bit tight like that (though to be clear, you can still close the case relatively easily).

2. As an alternative, you can remove the Pencil 2 from the top of the iPad, and instead it easily fits down the side of the iPad in its Magic Keyboard, inside the Tomtoc sleeve.

3. For those without a Pencil 2, then it fits inside the 13" Tomtoc sleeve pretty easily.

Hope this helps others who have likely, like myself, found it very difficult to find an outer sleeve case for the whole "2018/2020 12.9-inch iPad Pro with MK+P2" kit+caboodle!!

Protection for your expensive Macbook

Having brought a MacBook M1 (2020, 13 inch) after over a decade of using an iMac I was pretty clueless about which brands were best for protective cases for the laptops.

After a lot of research and reading far too many reviews, I plumped for this one based on price, protection level and design.

I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a perfect fit for the 13” MacBook, the inside is super soft and very padded - I certainly wouldn’t want to drop the MacBook, in a case or not, but I feel this would offer adequate protection against any serious cosmetic damage.

It’s a smart design and just about fits the charger plug in (this is very bulky), and I’ve got my Apple mouse and a few other bits and pieces in there as well, without putting any strain on the material or the pocket.

Thoroughly recommend.

I ordered this case specifically because of the protection around the zips. I have had issues with other cases scratching my laptop due to not protecting against the zip. This case offers a huge amount of protection, all around the device too.
My HP Envy 13 also fit perfectly in this case and I could not be happier.
I have not had chance to check the water resistance, though I would imagine it would protect your device against light spills/ showers.
The pocket is good to store a cleaning cloth and a small notepad, but not much else, as once the laptop is in the case this pocket does become quite tight.
The case does add some bulk to my laptop, especially when putting it into my backpack; however I do prefer the protection to the bulk.

All in all, a very good case for the money.

This is an excellent case!

I have a Lenovo Yoga 720 in Copper and I bought the 13-13.5" laptop sleeve but have found it a little large so I have bought the smaller one in 13" instead.

I found that the 13-13.5" sleeve was no too bad width wise, but height wise there was a large gap of one inch so the laptop was moving around a bit, so I have decided to return it and get the smaller one, which I think will be nice and snug!

I also ordered grey but did not like it as much as I hoped, so I have ordered the mint blue in the smaller version.

Overall the case is excellent the zippers glide smoothly and the size pocket is large enough to accommodate a charger. It is a shame that they do not have handles; it would have been nice if they had put a handle on the vertical end because when you put a laptop in a back pack you will most likely put it in portrait layout so maybe for the next version Tomtoc could consider this. I do think a handle is a bonus and adds peace of mind against dropping the laptop while in the case.

I also think that Tomtoc should embrace more vibrant colours in there range because there is not much to choose from; some on trend geometric patterns would be nice!

However these are minor moans. The case is lovely, as a nice spongey interior with a buffer around the perimeter to protect your laptop from knocks and drops and at £16.99 I cannot complain.

I would definitely recommend Tomtoc and buy from them again!

UPDATE: I ordered the 13" and it was too small, so now I am going to order the mint blue one in 13"-13.5" and just put up with the laptop moving around a little.

Bought this product for my new macbook 16" and it doesnt disappoint. the padding on the inside is great and the product is very sturdy. I would give this item 5 stars however, the pocket on the side is a little difficult to access. The pocket itself is huge and spans the majority of the case, but it does not have much stretch in the material and the opening is small so it can be difficult to retreive items right in the bottom. Also i find it difficult to fit the power brick in. It does fit but with difficulty
It would be a lot better if the zip was on the lon side of the case

Otherwise, amazing case
