Excellent Jacket...

...and I really wanted to keep it to go with a similar jacket I already have.

I tried it on and unfortunately had to make the decision to return it as it was going to be too tight to wear with anything other than a T shirt.

That is no fault of the garment which is extremely well made and has an easy to use zip - the fault lies entirely with me being the size I am and only partially being lured by the XXL label which normally would be a good fit [I am a 46" chest ex rugby player].

Amazon accepted the return and I was sad to see it go - especially as it was such good value.

Great quality - but far too small!

Impressed with jacket as I removed it from the packaging. Good quality and medium thickness which was great from the price. I ordered a large. I did receive a large, but hardly fitted me. I don't have arms as thick as Arnie but I could hardly get them in the jacket. As for zipping up, there was no way both parts were going to join. It was more like a small! Luckily my son who's a small to medium tried the jacket on. It was rather snug on him and he's around a 34" chest. Be aware - the sizing's crazy!

Bought 3 of these in different sizes and colors. Colors are good. Jacket is very light and not as puffy as pictured. Good for European autumn :) The sizing is strange... It is on a smaller scale and I would advise to go for a bigger size, although, size L nicely has fitted my L sized husband with the height 182cm. Size XXL fits XL men with the height up to 187cm. Size XL goes well for L sized tall men, but it will be a bit loose so as to go with the jog pants. If you want it look good with jeans, then tighter fit and probably your actual size to order is better, but this is only if you do not have too wide shoulders, stomach and big muscles :)

Really nice modern lightweight puffer jacket that isn't in-your-face or cheap-looking

I was a little wary about this jacket on requesting it, as only a few days prior I had seen someone wearing a puffer-style jacket and thought how much I didn’t like it. To be fair, that jacket was black and sort of weird shiny fabric which just made it look naff.

This jacket from Meraki, while puffer in its overall style is not very pronounced or heavily puffed-up - if that even makes sense? I got the size Large which is a perfect fit for me (6ft tall, 43” chest, 34” waist), and the arms go exactly to where they should. Sometimes I’m a Medium, sometimes I’m a Large, but in this case I’m definitely the Large. It’s not bulky (like some puffer jackets so often are) and it’s relatively slim-fitting. The material is quite warmly lined and lightweight.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the colour - listed as ‘Grey (Silver)’, but in person it’s nice. It cuts a modern and trendy look. I would say it’s very pale grey, closer to white, but not a bright white that might look tacky. The contrasting black zips and small black elasticated cuffs are a nice design touch. The two outer pockets zip up, and there is one inner pocket on the left-hand side, although the zip feels a little more fragile here, and I’m less keen on the side-on opening which I would have preferred to have open more towards the top of the pocket.

All-in, this is a really nice and light spring jacket for a modern and trendy look, that would pair-off nicely against dark slim or stretch jeans/chinos and casual trainers or boots. For a price of c. £50 (at time of review) this is probably about right considering the style, material and quality, although I’d be happier if it were a bit cheaper.
