Great gloves at a great price...

After reading, thought twice about buying... Already own a pair of North Face gloves which are similar but cost about £26. Lots of bad reviews here as well as a few good ones - I thought there was not much to loose at the price so I bought a pair. I wasn't disappointing - They feel as good as my North Face gloves and appear to be just as good quality (My North Face gloves burst the sticking round the thumb the first week) Sewed and have been OK since but just shows the most expensive ones are not always the best choice. Have worn thees most days for well over a Month without any issues. Would recommend.

I have had these gloves for two weeks and I would love to give it a five star but I can’t. The touchscreen material on the fingers on both left and right of the gloves wasn’t sown on straight which made operating my phone difficult. Then on the right hand I noticed a hole in between my thumb and finger and the handle of the zip was missing too. A few days later I noticed that there was the same hole on the left hand of the glove and there was a hole on the wrist too. For this I can only give it 2 stars. If it wasn’t for these reasons I would have given it a 5 star rating.

I purchased a pair of these gloves to use as wheelchair gloves and they are the best gloves I have ever used. The material is supple and fits like a 2nd skin, the palms are really non slip so making pushing myself around a real pleasure, they are really warm, waterproof and wind proof and with the tips of the thumb, index and middle fingers made for touchscreen use, I can use my phone without removing my gloves. I have no hesitation in recommending these gloves.

These gloves are good quality and offer good protection from the wind. When I bought the gloves I measured my hand and bought the recommended size, however the glove came out a bit small. I gave the gloves to a female friend while ordering a larger pair and she was very pleased with them. The seller proactively asked for feedback and I let them know that the gut was small and they offered me a small refund as compensation.

Overall I am very happy with the gloves and impressed by the customer service I received from the seller. I would definitely recommend the gloves but advise on buying a size larger than recommended.

Seam split within days unfortunately

Unfortunately after just 3 days and 25 miles of road cycling, the seam on the left glove split between thumb and forefinger. Nothing untoward or extreme happened to the gloves, they just simply split whilst putting them on.

The fit of these gloves was perfect, they appeared rugged and the balance between insulation and range of movement was ideal for cycling, so I was rather upset with their untimely demise.

I am hoping to try another pair, and will update this review accordingly if the new ones stand the test of time.

Update: No replacement offered by seller. Amazon refunded with minimal hassle eventually. My search for a decent (cheap) pair of cycling gloves seems to have culminated with the following pair (they're not paying me or anything, I just really do like the gloves):

Bought these for dog walking to have gloves that I didn't need to take off for handling keys, zips, leads, poo bags etc. The insulation is not brilliant but my fingers are much warmer for being able to keep the gloves on, and I can indeed handle all I need to with them on. If I wanted gloves for longer periods outside I would invest in higher quality gloves, but these are very good value for money for what I need.

Gloves themselves are fine but disappointed that zip on right glove broke so quickly. Can only have worn them 10 times max.

EDIT: I was very pleasantly surprised that after leaving this review the seller contacted me and offered me a replacement pair of gloves based on that this was an exceptional defect and not representative of their usual high standards. I have accepted their kind offer and the gloves arrived in two working days. I was very impressed with their proactive, courteous and friendly customer service (thanks Tina!), which is unusual and very welcome at this price point.

I have increased the star rating from 3 to 4 based on this very positive experience. Further to my initial review, I would add that the gloves fit very well and work well with smartphone screens thanks to the pads on the forefinger and thumb. I use mine for running and they keep my hands very warm even in very cold early morning conditions - too warm even! My only complaint (aside from the zip, which was hopefully a one-off) is that it would be great if they were designed to be a bit more breathable but that's probably expecting too much for the price point. Good gloves overall.

These gloves are rubbish, as soon as I did up the zip it flew off and nearly took my eye out. I was in the process of returning them when I was struck down by illness and missed the return deadline. So now I have a pair of useless gloves sat in the Hallway.

Looked nice , but ripped on first wear ! Needing to contact seller regarding a exchange of refund . Bought these for my son for Christmas . He has a very slim hand . Put them on for the first time and they completely fell apart st the seem !

I read loads of reviews before buying some gloves, these ones had mixed ones but I went with them anyway. I wish I'd just paid more money for proper gloves because these are poor. If it's mild outside they keep your hands warm but if it's actually cold your finders will still be numb. It's almost impossible to use your phone in them and to top it off after 3 weeks the zip broke on the left one.

You could make better gloves yourself, save your money!
