A rather plain design and somewhat overpriced

This MERAKI Men's Bomber Jacket seems a bit expensive at the current price of around sixty pounds, being quite plain and basic. This lightweight jacket is made in Vietnam from a mix of 68% Polyester with 30% Viscose plus 2% Elastane for stretchiness – this type of fabric is dry clean only. The jacket's simple style features a baseball collar, long sleeves with elasticated cuffs, an elasticated side hem and a front full-length zip – I found the zip to be very fiddly to fasten. The jacket is available in six sizes from small to xxx-large but if you want to wear anything but a thin shirt under it you may need to choose a larger size than you would normally wear. Three colour options are available in black, blue or grey with colour-matched trousers also available. At the current price I am struggling to rate this garment with even three stars – but I like the pockets so it just gets them!

This bomber jacket is very on-trend for 2017/18 with a nice clean look and no unnecessary embellishments.

From a fit-perspective, it is a fairly snug fit on me. I am medium build and I would typically wear size Medium shirts 15.5-16” collar. My chest is 42.5 inches and I think if I were any broader I’d need to go up to the Large, but as things stand right now, the Medium fits me nicely. The arms are just about long enough for me (provided I don’t reach forward too obviously), although the cuffs are quite tight.

Quality-wise, I’m suitably impressed with this jacket. I could find no loose ends and all the stitching was on-point. It’s a fairly lightweight jacket, so it’s not going to keep you warm in winter, but it has just enough heft to it to make it hang properly.

I don’t know what the retail price for this jacket is likely to be, but if I were to hazard a guess I’d go in at about £20-25.

The 'MERAKI Men's Smart Bomber Jacket, Black (Black 101), Large' is a thin dressy bomber-style jacket, with a fairly slim fit. It is made from silky-feel polyester-viscose mix, which must be kept away from fire and is dry-clean only (always a nuisance...). It looks smart and compliments a smart-casual outfit well. Nice jacket, just be aware it doesn't wash!

Die Jacke würde ich nicht als Bomberjacke bezeichnen, andererseits kannte ich bisher Bomberjacken in Verbindung mit dem Adjektiv "formal" nicht.
Die Jacke ist eine Mischung aus Sakko und Jacke, also leger für den "casual friday" u. ä.
Sie passt zu Jeans oder legeren Stoffhosen (Chinos) und T-Shirt oder auch zu Hemden.
Männern mit langem Oberkörper könnte sie zu kurz sein.
Sie gefällt, er nennt sie elegant & bequem.
Der Innenstoff ist typisch Sakko, außen ist es ebenfalls ein gewebter Stoff, wie für Anzüge typisch.
Die Jacke hat auf jeder Seite eine Tasche und eine weitere innen.
In M hat die Jacke folgende Maße: ca. 66 cm lang, ca. 53 cm breit.
Hergestellt in Vietnam ohne weitere Angaben zu den Produktionsbedingungen, 1 Stern Abzug.

Eher Freizeit- als Sportbekleidung

Diese Herren-Trainingsjacke der Marke MERAKI hat den stylischen Schnitt einer Bomberjacke. Das Kleidungsstück ist komplett in Schwarz gehalten und aus einem wunderbar weichen Stoff gefertigt, der sich sehr angenehm anfühlt. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei und der Reißverschluss ist wunderbar leichtgängig. Es gibt keine störendenden oder reibenden Nähte, auch die Ärmelbündchen sind wunderbar weich und angenehm. Der Stoff ist etwas dicker, was zunächst natürlich sehr gut wärmt, allerdings die Jacke auch ziemlich schwer werden lässt. Das Gewicht spürt man schon recht deutlich, wenn man die Jacke trägt. Deshalb und auch wegen des weiten Schnitts finde ich sie völlig unbrauchbar als Sportjacke. Sie ist doch eher eine Freizeitjacke. Man kann sie aufgrund ihres doch recht edlen Aussehens aber auch wunderbar ins Büro anziehen!

Die Marke war mir bisher nicht bekannt. Ein gut geschnittener, sauber verarbeiteter Herrenblouson, gefüttert, hergestellt in Vietnam. In der Taille gerafft, zwei äußere Eingriffstaschen, zwei innenliegende Taschen im Futter. Kleiner Stehkragen. Sitzt gut, kneift nicht unter den Achseln. Auch die Ärmel sind gefüttert. Die Materialmischung geht aus dem Etikett nicht hervor. Bündchen am Armabschluss. Leichtgängiger Reißverschluss, sauber verarbeitet. Mittelding zwischen Sportjacke und gepflegte Freizeitjacke. Macht eine ordentliche Figur. Wasserabweisend schon, aber nicht wasserdicht. Leider keine Pfleganleitung, dürfte aber problemlos in der Waschmaschine zu reinigen sein. Angenehmes Tragegefühl. Empfehlenswert.

Schicke Jacke...aber Vorsicht bei der Größe!

Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, alles ist sauber vernäht und der Reißverschluss ist angenehm leichtgängig.
Sie sitzt eng und Körperbetont, da muss man aufpassen. Wer auf etwas mehr Bewegungsfreiheit steht, sollte lieber eine Nummer größer nehmen.
Der Stoff ist sehr weich und angenehm zu tragen. Die Jacke hat auf beiden Seiten eine Innentasche.
Sie sieht wirklich sehr schick aus und wirkt gar nicht wie eine 'Trainingsjacke', eher wie eine sportliche Business-Jacke. Sie lässt sich daher bei vielen Anlässen tragen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
