Excellent socks!!

I am not a runner in any shape or form but I do love to walk. I have been recovering from a pulled calf muscle and was looking for some support to enable me to continue to do some gentle exercise. I am delighted with these socks! I am 6ft tall and have size 9 feet so ordered the size 43-47. They fit really well and come up just shy of my knees. They are really comfortable and don't have that awful tight elastic to dig into your skin around your knees. They were supportive without being impossible to get on. I wore them under leggings but they weren't too hot either. They helped control the swelling in my ankles that I get on a long walk too. I also didn't feel the mid walk muscle fatigue that I sometimes get. Overall the best £10 I've spent in a while. I will be continuing to use these socks even when my calf is better. Excellent product, many thanks 😊👍

Too tight at the top of the calf - big calf people go away!

I bought this product as I tend to get shin splints and calf tendinitis quite often. I have tried them while running and found the top was too small for my calves and started to feel uncomfortable after 5k. Not something to use for long runs therefore. Then, I tried wearing them post workout as a recovery tool but felt that likewise, the top of the sock was too tight and it did not feel comfortable. However the compression on the calf is there, you feel supported and warm, so if your calf is maybe average to small it would be great for you, but if you have above average calf size i would recommend to try other brands.
Now, you must be wondering “what is an above average calf size”? Follow this rule of thumb: when you wear straight jeans or trousers, and sit: the fabric will go slightly up your calf - this is the case for everyone. If your calf is above average, the fabric will not go down when you stand up after sitting and will “stick” to your middle calf.

I bought these as I play golf regularly but have a marked degree of venous insufficiency in the one leg (both are affected but one is much worse than the other; I've tried various support stockings before but these are the best fit that I've found; they are tighter than the others but I expected this and they are slightly longer but this did not matter as some I've tried leave a tight ring at the top of my lower leg;

I've worn them twice and found them to be very comfortable to wear over a there to four hour period and they supported to my legs very well with no swelling seen around the ankles;

I'm about to order a second pair, which says it all really;

The sizing infor is a bit of a joke. They have sizing for calf and foot length but now way of telling you how t o incorporate both into an order. According to the guide I have the largest foot size but the smallest size in calf, so i brought both the smallest and largest to compare.

What the sizing doesn't state is that the height of the sock also changes. I didn't try on the smallest size as it was clear that is was a good few inches shorter from the heel to top than the larger one so wouldn't have covered my calf. I'm 6ft, so if you are as tall as me you'd need the medium or large size regardless of the size of your foot.

Compression compared to other socks i've tried is about average on my calf. I'd like it a bit tighter. Compression around the foot is great, but you need to wear them on the correct foot. I put them on the wrong foot first time and it was too tight. Fluorescent yellow L/R labeling on a white sock isn't exactly noticeable.

These are a lot thicker than any other compression socks i've tried, so feel like they will last a lot longer. I only wear them post run, if you use them for running they might be a bit on the warm side for summer running.

I bought these socks as my legs and ankles swell when I am standing or walking.
Well made as they are I found them much too tight around my(swollen) calf. despite buying a larger size.
I wore them for 1 day as, having taken me 10 minutes to put them on, I thought that I would persevere for the day but by the early evening i had to remove them as i found them so uncomfortable.
I read all the reviews and compared to other items before purchasing.
Unfortunately they are not for me. I wonder if i missed anything about calf measurements?

The fit is superb and I feel that they are doing my over-exercised legs a lot of good. The neon yellow is really very attractive and I’m glad I didn’t go for ‘safe’ grey or black. Well-priced also. I already use the shorter Danish Endurance socks for running and was impressed with those but these compression socks are EVEN better! I will be buying more.

I've only used compression socks once before so looked around to find what I'd hoped would do the job for me as I've a charity ride later this year - Land's End to John O’Groats.

Came across this make and liked what I saw. Checked the measurements just to be sure.

Wore the socks for cycling in a ride. Very comfortable and really liked the colour and feel.

Afterwards I noticed a minor issue (nothing to do with the quality of the socks) with the pair and contacted the seller. Very quick reply and with no hesitation they offered to send a replacement pair.

Purchased two pairs of these for my upcoming flight. Being wheelchair bound and diabetic I didn't want to risk anything. Unfortunately I have tried to put them on this morning and I'm now certain the sizes are done by age and not shoe size!! I couldn't even get them past my toes. Now I know they are supposed to be tight but if I even manged to get these on I would have cut off all supply to my lower legs.
