Good fit and warm, but pockets could be a lot better.

Great fit and comfortable and warm. There are a couple of down sides though. It would be really helpful if the side pockets had some kind of closure like a zipper as it's so easy for things to slip out they're not secure and quite shallow. More than once I have sat down and my mobile has slipped straight out down gap between my car seat and centre console. Actually there is a lack of pockets. An inside brest pocket with zipper would be great too.

Far too small!

Alas, this was way too small for me. I normally take a 2XL in tops and jackets so, I ordered a 3XL to give myself a bit of room to wear a sweatshirt too.

However, thus gilet barely fitted around my chest and was also awfully short. As such, I have returned it and await a refund.

It's a bit of a shame as otherwise this gilet was, for the price, reasonably well made and warm.

This was what I needed,, warmish gilet that was DWR treated to provide a level of water resistance, the collar is high so protects your neck and bottom of your face, its warm and the perfect size and weight so all them thumbs up with only one and its the most important one! The pockets need to be either zipped or deep enough so your phone can stay safe, sadly the pockets on this jacket were a pick pockets best friend, even without any scruffy pick pockets around I would say the chances of loosing anything you put in these pockets is very high due to the small size, so what I suggest is do not use these pockets and find some place else safer otherwise I recommend this jacket.

Stitching started to come away around the collar, followed instructions to send back to Mountain Warehouse for replacement with pre-paid postage. When I asked how long for replacement told to deal with Amazon only, took nearly an hour with Amazon Chat to eventually be told a credit only, waste of my time. Get your act together Guys!!!!

Sizing and cut a bit out of whack

Although usually a size small I followed the mountain warehouse size guide and purchased a medium. What I received was a shapeless khaki tent that fitted OK-ish around my chest and shoulders (I am a 40 inch chest), and ballooned around my midriff. Quality was nevertheless good, just a shame it was such a poor fit.
