Fantastic buy !

I hesitated for ages to buy this coat . I wanted a fixed hood without fur that comes very close to the front zip and chin area and stays put ,that I find helps when it’s windy . The models hair was down so I couldn’t really see the front but I decided to try and I’m so glad I did ! It arrived the next day which is fantastic considering I’m not on the U.K. mainland . When I went to order Amazon recommended a size 14 L ( I’m a size 12 usually) but I’m happy I took their advice as it’s not too fitted which I need for wearing jumpers and hoodies under . I’m 5.10 and it skims just on the knee . It comes with an elastic belt for a more fitted look which you can remove . It’s very well padded for the winter without being heavy , I haven’t tried it outside yet but have included a few photos and have overheated whilst doing so . At the minute it feels on par with my North face but even if it doesn’t measure up completely to that I won’t complain especially at such a fantastic price . The material isn’t too shiny and isn’t too dull . Just to note this isn’t the one with fur round the hood that’s advertised alongside it , it’s the one advertised with the belt .

Sizing up the creek

Although I bought a larger size after reading some of the reviews, I am sorry to say that the coat was still too tight for me and had to be returned. However, I was impressed by the quality of the actual coat and liked the fact that it had pressed buttons as well as a zip, although the faux fur hood left much to be desired and should have been left plain as opposed to two tone.

I've been looking for a decent warm and lightweight coat for 2 years now. I bought one last winter thinking it was everything I was looking for in coat but, once I got to use it in the daily basis, I realised it was not what I needed: too heavy and too short. I read reviews for some 20 different coats and I went ahead and bought this one, so glad I did! It fits perfect and comfortably (I'm 5'2", size 12-14, so I ordered a 14, and it fits perfect, even with a couple of thick layers underneath), it covers me up to the knees so extra warmth, the zip is of quality and has 2 sliders. The hood can not be tightened around the head, but it stays in place even when running! The collar reaches up to the mouth if zipped all the way up, which I find such a good characteristic since there is no need for a scarf to protect the neck and chin. All in all a really good coat, warmer than it looks (I've used it at 1 degree and felt super warm in it) and very lightweight.

Amazing coat for someone who really feels the cold. Thick but comfortable padding, long (I’m 5’2”) below the knee and really warm, hood is just right, not too big or too fluffy. Originally bought for my daughter but I was so impressed I returned a more expensive coat and got one for me too. Amazing value for money.

I love this coat. You can go out in the cold with just a t-shirt on and still be amazingly warm with this coat on. Very comfortable to wear. The only criticism I have is that the hood doesn't stay up in windy weather so you have to hold it if you don't want to get your hair wet. Otherwise I'm very pleased with it.

Super warm this coat & knee length which is great to wear with boots as looks fab. I ordered without the fur on detatchable hood & it looks great. The elasticated belt is a lovely touch as it makes this coat look really stylish. Highly recommend, its like having a duvet on so can minamise what you wear underneath. Really happy with my purchase. Goes in and out at the waist - if you're tall

Goes in and out at the waist despite being padded which would be flattering if you're tall but the waist is much lower than my daughter's actually waist and it comes out again at her thighs. She's only 5 foot 2.

Also very difficult to understand how to return. Says you pay to return but encloses a bar code and address to attach which has Hermes written at top so I'm going to try a Hermes parcelshop. Not sure as it also has a van number and parceldrop number on it so I don't know if a courier is coming to me...

I love this coat! Excellent value for money too. It’s a tad weighty, it’s not micro fibre but I quite like that. it ads to its cosy feel. My main priority was warmth for when I have to walk the dog, especially with the recent stormy weather.
It also looks pretty smart and others have complimented me on it.
. I love the elasticated belt and the length is good just below the knee (I’m 5””4””) I didn’t buy the fur trim one so can’t comment on it, the plain hood I like.

Arrived before expected delivery date. Great lenght, comes down to my knees, feels fairly warm. Haven't used in extreme cold weather yet! Brought my size, fits well, haven't tried with thick jumper. Pockets are fairy deep and I love the fact that you can zip them up, but within time, the lining will rip, as it is quite thin! Only given 4 stars, as sleeves could be a little longer or have a cuff ending, as the sleeves of my sweatshirts are longer and shows through the end of the coat sleeves!
