Very good for the money.

Quite like these 'board shorts', which seem to have become very popular, item arrived on time, nicely packed but not overly so. Shorts do not have a mesh lining as such but this assists the drying, so will dry out quite quickly and comfortably on your body without necessarily having to remove them, which is the general idea i think. I liked the design and colourway but the fit for me was maybe a tad too big and slightly baggy but I opted to keep them as i thought a smaller size could be a tad too small. Might buy another but I'll see how I get on with this pair first.

Hurts around waist, slow drying, very loose cut, fraying seams

On first fit upon arrival it seemed ok. Elasticated waist with drawstring, so expands ok (see last photo)
After wearing for 4 hours, it really digs into the waist. It’s not that I have purchased the wrong size (first photo) Indeed I am a 34-35 inch waist and purchased the large size.
After wearing for the second day of holiday today (10th aug) then it’s not let up either in terms of chafing / causing marks on the skin.
Length is great. Too baggy in the girth of the leg for me. Material seems good for repelling water bit compared to ones purchased at the same price (£17.99) elsewhere on Amazon they retain the water too much. Finally, even though I’ve only been in the water for an hour with them, one lot of stitching has come loose from the top of the waist and also bottom leg

Material seems good and general quality is ok. Unfortunately the way they are shaped/built is not ok. Too much fabric in the front (balloon were you privates are) and to short on your behind (nice view for anyone behind you when you bend over). I know it's the short's issue since this is the first time ever I had this problem with swimming shorts.

Bought for my fiance who swims regularly. He is between a Medium and Large in size, went for a Large and he says they couldn't be smaller because he needs the room to kick whilst swimming, so if you are between sizes and want to use these for swimming workouts go up a size.

They seem to have kept the colour and dried fast after wash. Can't fault the price either, will buy another pair.

Large fit him well at 6 foot tall, 80 kilograms, muscular build.

I could say these shorts are good, but they are much better than that. The fabric is excellent and the fit is the best I have found in shorts for many years - and I do have 9 other pairs - some that cost more, but none that fit so well, nor look so good. These are the second pair that I have bought from this company and I certainly recommend them to all.

Smart shorts they have a mesh liner and several pockets, one is secured with velcro. They can be worn for swiming, but don't look out of place if you decide to sling on a t-shirt and take a walk from the beach, to the bar.

Good length, they sit just on my knee (I'm 5'10 and take 31/32 inside leg).

No mesh lining

The only problem is that there is no mesh lining, which I do not find comfortable. Details say that this is stated in the colour number but "Hw023" does not indicate to me that the mesh lining is not included. I see now that the colours with the lining do have that stated in the colour name but if, as I did, you go straight to one particular colour then you don't find out until you receive them. This needs to be made clear. I had no time to re-order before my holiday so had no choice but to take them. Having said that, the shorts seem to be good quality and they look nice but be careful which colour you choose.
