I've not had very much luck with pants, so this is the first pair I've had over the last couple of years that actually fits me OK. However, where I usually take a 31/32 inch waist, I needed got a 30 inch waist for these -- and could probably be ok with a 29 inch. I'm one of those sort of running guys, and my problems are having sort of largish thighs and something of a smallish rear end, so my pants tend to slide down, which is incredibly annoying. I have tried braces, which work well, but it is really annoying wearing braces with sweaters/jumpers. Combining these pants with a widish slightly elastic belt (also from Amazon) really solved my problem. As a note, I would stick with the blue denim versions of these pants. The black ones are all cotton, and really not jeans at all (in my opinion).+

UPDATE FOR BLACK COLOR JEANS:

I am still very pleased with the first, blue, pair I bought of these jeans. I originally gave them a 5 star rating but I've taken a star off because I feel like the black ones aren't what they were marketed as. Unlike the blue jeans, the black ones don't have the look or feel of denim. So they really just feel like a pair of black chino pants. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing really wrong with that. I can still use them for my intended purpose (pants to wear to work). But they feel like completely different pants than the blue ones, and definitely not jeans, so I feel misled.

ORIGINAL REVIEW FOR BLUE COLOR JEANS:

Over the years I've tried a few different types of pants that try to incorporate a level of stretchiness. I just like having the waistband of my pants fit snugly, while also not digging into my waist when I bend over or kneel.

These jeans definitely pull that off much better than any other ones I've tried. And they look good. They look like normal jeans.

I'll definitely consider getting another pair in a different color.

It's not the first time I buy pants from Amazon, but it is the first time the pants are (almost) as expected. They fit perfectly. There is a nice elasticity at the waist which make them really comfortable and it would cost much more in a specialized store.

However, the color doesn't not match the picture. I got the maverick color and they are more pale than what you see in the picture. Nevertheless, I absolutely adore them.

Decent pant, not a jean

Im a 6ft 2 150lb guy, for reference. I wanted something to wear to work and with running shoes/converse. These pants are the right size and are low waist as they mention (which is a small pain in the butt personally). They are more of a cotton slack with some spandex woven in than a jean. The only reason I docked it a star was for the fact that it wasn't a jean as I expected but sizing wise, everything is as they say in the descriptions.

Bought my first pair of Lee Extreme Motion slim fit - straight leg several years ago in dark blue. Just bought 2 more in two different colours. Black pair not really a denim jeans fabric and fit tighter. Light blue pair are denim but fit more loose than original pair. All three pairs are 33 waist with 32 leg.
The original pair has worn very well so far.
