Good quality shorts

Bought these for running after a search on amazon showed these as results. Took a chance as I’d never heard of TCA and don’t normally buy without trying on in a shop first.
Really pleased with the shorts - comfortable, good quality and they had the back pocket which fitted and held my iPhone 6 securely. This was what I wanted as can’t stand the phone bouncing around in a pocket when running.
Only downside is that they chafe in the groin as there’s no lining!! So, not good for those long runs but still happy with them.

Purchased these to use for regular running.

I’m a 34” waist and got the L size Now I’m wishing I’d got M because every time I go running with my phone in the rear zip pocket the shorts start falling down, and as a result I usually end up running with my phone in my hand instead making the rear pocket useless. The waistband strings don’t go tight enough, but I think I’ve I’d got the next size down this wouldn’t have been an issue.

The TCA logo fell off as soon as I opened the shorts which had me questioning the quality immediately. The material of the shorts feels very cheap in comparison to other similar shorts I own.

Two weeks later:
I’ve resorted to purchasing a different pair from another seller on Amazon to compare them to as I’ve felt pretty disappointed with this purchase.

I have worn these quite a few times now for different types of workout, mainly cross-training. The shorts are comfortable to wear while training, I do not overheat even though with an inner short and they dry quickly too. My only issue would be the inner short is a little snug in sizing, compared to other brands of a similar type I use, so keep this in mind when ordering and checking the size.

OLD COMMENT: I like the item purchased, however, the Large size I ordered is very tight on me. I can comfortably fit in the large size of my Nike, Puma, Reebok shorts.

Good gym shorts

A good alternative to my various pairs of Nike 7 + 9 inch shorts - which are beginning to fall apart.
Decent waistband - in contrast to my most recent Nikes which had a very girly satiny waist. A solid draw cord at waist. These are a bit heavier - the interior shorts are a bit weighty - but maybe they'll hold their elasticity better.

On potential black marks: after 4 washes I have just cut off some loose threads from a seam. I'll keep you posted.
The other was that when I stretch the waist at the back goes a bit low. Not very. My T-shirts mostly cover it - but any hint of builder's crack from anyone over 30 - let alone over 50 - is unwelcome.

Generally - pretty pleased. Good price too.

Back pocket too small and compression tights don't prevent chaffing

Bought a large for my 33-34 inch waist. Bought them with the intention of helping with chaffing between my legs when I run but they don't help with this at all and actually make it worse.
The back pocket descriptionm says "Large enough to fit any current smartphone model." It is incredibly difficult to fit an iphone 12, sony xperia XZ or samsung S21 (I have tried all three) into when running but it is possible with stretching the zip which I can see breaking down the line if I am having to do this constantly.

Quality of the material does appear to be good though, no complaints in that department

I workout every day and the shorts are great. could use a side pocket though because the thing in the back is not useful at least not for me. doesn't fit my phone and if I have it back there its irritating. but the shorts themselves are nice comfy and quick to dry.

Fantastic product. I chose XL rather than Large (I have a 34” waist and “rugby player” thighs 🙂) because the reviews said they came up a little small. The XL was just right.

I’ve run at least 200km in them, washed a number of times and all good so far. The sown in compression shorts are great and the pocket works although I wear a wrist GPS, fits an iPhone 8 tightly.

Another decent product from TCA.

These are good for what they are, I brought a pair of TCA running track pants in medium that fit well, but these are a size smaller almost than they state. Should have brought a size L, recommend anyone to order a size larger than they think they need. Back pocket big enough to hold a key, but not much else (luckily that's all I take running with me). Inner shorts are tight, you don't need to wear anything else.
