10x better than expected. I'm a joiner on site and spend all day on the move. Got these to replace other well known brand trousers from screwfix, Fed up of silly pockets and I personally don't use knee pads. The flex these trousers have is quite impressive whether it's climbing up on the scaffolding or up and down the stair with sheets these give plenty off flex. Surprisingly soft and so much lighter than other trousers. I expect these to last a long time. If your in the building trade and Fed up of restricting trousers these are for you. They are not a baggy fit just standard straight leg and do come up long so order a size smaller in length as a 32 inch leg turns up as a 33/34 inch leg in reality. At the end of the day you get what you pay for!

Nice quality well made but in my size they seemed to be way too big , baggy on the legs and at least a size too big for me

Best work pants I’ve ever owned, lots of stretch and comfortable, and incredibly soft. I’m a plumber and these will be my work pants for life.
*Update*
After less than six months I no longer can wear these pants as a massive tear in the front pocket has made them unwearable. This tear was not caused by anything other then my cellphone wearing the material out and ripping. Will not buy again.

A hole within 2 months!

I've had these pant for about 3 months now. A hole developed on the outer seam of the left leg within 2 months. Seems the stitching was too close to the edge and didn't capture enough fabric. So pants that should last years, may only last 6 months. That sucks. I've got other pairs that have lasted nearly 4 years.

If you are looking for a rugged pair of carhartt pants, this is not what you want. I was buying them for my husband. He needed them for work. Although they might be great for hanging out with friends, they are not tough enough for construction work. These are lightweight and do not have the reinforced knee area that I was looking for. I bought 2 pair…I returned 2 pair! Thanks to Amazon for having a great return policy.

Extremely tight at the thigh, short overall, and loose at the waist

At a 32x34 pant size, the thighs are extremely tight, yet the waist is loose. I"m not sure what body type these pants would fit at this pant length as if one's waist gets larger, the thighs definitely aren't getting smaller at the same time.
Overall the material seemed fine, but these pants just don't fit well. This seems to be a recurring theme for the Carhartt 32x34 pant size in general (have had the same issue with other styles from Carhartt)

If you have muscular legs don't expect these to fit... the waist size is not consistent with other pants as well. Way too tight around the waist and thigh area. For a carhart brand pant and customers who most likely don't skip leg day you would expect these to fit way differently.

Loose fit means baggy. I liked the material and it is comfortable to work in. It breathes and it is non confining... But carhartt “loose fit” means baggy. No fit to them.
I wish they made them in a traditional or trim fit.

I’ve worn Carhartt Pants at work for over 10 years, but never this style. I can’t speak for this pairs durability, because I won’t be wearing them, but I can say that these have to have the worst fit I’ve come across.

These are beyond tight in the waistband, they have way too much room in the crotch, not enough room in the butt, the thighs are baggy, the knees are tight, and they’re about an inch longer than they should be.

I’m walking around all day with a wedgie bc of these pants. I don’t even have a big butt.

For reference I’m 6 ft 160 lbs.

Great pants. I have had at least 6 pairs of these same pants in two different colors over the last few years for work. And for some reason this pair is just to baggy around the ankle and shin. Will be returning and hopefully next pair is better fit wise. This fit like the normal duck pants. But I like a tighter feel around ankle.
