As an overweight guy I bought these to go under my tracksuit bottoms to keep me comfortable when I’m going for a run or anything where my legs will be moving quickly and might rub against each other. I am normally an XXL and after using the size chart I went for the 3XL which fit great. The shorts are light and fit fine without being taught or restricting and the thick elastic waist band sits comfortably on the waist without shifting. I’m 5’9 with quite big thighs and short legs so the shorts sit above my knee by a few inches, these may be a bit shorter on someone taller or if you have long legs. They do look like boxers though so definitely put them under something like your shorts or joggers - you would be a brave person to wear them as they are! I would recommend these to anyone, whether you are in shape and want something comfy and close to the skin or for people such as myself who want to take up more exercise without any chafing.

I cannot believe just how awful these things are!! The seams on the inside are like a zip rubbing against my ass cheeks!! I bought them hoping to wear on a 27 mile charity hike but I doubt I'd get a mile before the chaffing from the seams drew blood!!! I'm hoping I'll get away with using them for the gym, otherwise it's a total waste of money!! My advice: buy a different product! I've a couple other UA garments and they're great, but these things are just awful!!

These are comfortable to wear - and offer a nice 'base layer' is that's what you are looking for. I bought them using the provided size guide - good fit - no major issues there. The only thing I'd say is that UA must be using a short model as they do not go too far down my thigh (circa 6'). Granted - inner length is given.

However, I spent some time reading reviews of various products (here and elsewhere) as I needed shorts with good compression to help recover from injury. Bought these based on the reviews and the high elastane content. I found they provide little more compression than a pair of boxer shorts. Far less than I was expecting and really disappointed with the Under Armor hype. I have cheaper compression shorts with much better compression.

So in terms of a £20 pair of boxers they're great - expensive - but great. In terms of a pair of compression shorts as advertised - they are not great at all.

This is my second pair of Under Armour compress shorts, and based on my continued experience I’ll stick with them in the future.

The wide waist band distributes the elastic pull effectively and does not leave red marks. It also stops the elastic twisting, which I have experienced with other brands that have thinner waist bands.

The actual material is thick and hard-wearing - I do at least a couple of 5km runs a week and there is no sign of wear from continued use or washing.

The price is on the steep side, but when I have bought cheaper alternatives they tend to be of lower quality and end up full of holes. Essentially you get what you pay for and the Under Armour shorts will outlast cheaper alternatives.

I would highly recommend this product.

I buy a medium on every clothing size. I've bought these in a medium also. Material nice. Very comfortable, sits just above my knee in length......

Now I do lots off bike riding and sprints. The tops of my legs are fairly large. I feel no compression whatsoever wearing these. Or confidence that they are actually supporting my quads or hamstrings. Proper disappointed actually with this purchase. They look the part but then again so do Sondico shorts in any Sports Direct. 👎

Bought in a sale so great price. Really Comfortable shorts that aren’t too baggy or too tight fo me for running (size L, 5’11”, average body type). Bought specifically for speedpocket as I don’t want to use arm bands or hold my phone during a run, but I found the regular pockets are just as good at holding my phone and also allows me to retrieve mid run to change song etc.
The actual ‘speedpocket’ is great if you don’t need to access your phone so much during your activity, as it can be fiddly to put your phone in securely and quickly (iPhone 8). Mini rear lumbar pocket is great for keys and other small items - jangling at a minimum! All in all delighted with the purchase.

Don't know why I didn't get some of these before!

Odd crotch design

It is correct about keeping you cool, breathes nicely. Doesn’t strangle your waist, however the crotch area was designed for the opposite sex, it accentuates her “lowerlimbendcomparison” feature nicely, but for him causes the wand and the two red noses to look like they are squeezed between two walls. I tried wearing it a bit more loosely but then it makes the “treasures “ to wink head over heels backwards towards the black hole. Please consider our pride and joy when sewing this item, the fabric is great, elasticity is brilliant….it’s a letdown when it comes to accommodate the guest with two small ones either side.

Nice boxers for workout, well made. The material is sweat-free. The length is also good.

I've worn different brand boxers but it has one major flaw in my personal experience. It is almost flat in the crotch, which makes it uncomfortable to wear.

There's not enough space down there, you cannot stop positioning to adjust. I am kind of used to it now. Apart from that these are nice boxers.
