If you like to be, be need to be, outdoors in cold weather, the Ultrasport Davos Men's Winter Jacket could be for you. Everything about it, including the detachable hood, reeks of quality. Beautifully made from 100% polyester fabrics, it is light-weight, but warm, whilst being water and windproof.
Front closure is by a quality plastic zip, with a flap to cover it, with Velcro fastening and a press stud at the bottom to keep it tight.
The hood, which attaches with press studs, has draw-string closure and has a Velcro length adjuster.
The sleeve linings are elasticated at the wrist and there are Velcro adjusters on the outside of the sleeves at the wrist.
I have a long body, but the length is more than adequate to cover my backside and another draw-string keeps it tight.
A concealed “cummerbund” at the bottom of the lining can be pulled out to give an additional tight fitting around the waist for extra protection.
All-in-all really excellent defence against the elements.
Not only is this jacket brilliantly functional, it is also attractive. Outside, it is predominately black with two grey patches and some red detailing. There are two vertical zipped pockets on the front, a zipped pocket on the left sleeve and a mesh pocket inside on the right.
Sizing is “European”, so if you are used to the slightly larger US sizes, you might need to take this into consideration.

This is a well made and warm winter jacket, suitable for active use - or just walking and rambling.

Features:
Detachable padded hood, with drawstring - liked this, as many hoods are only one layer. This helps keep warmth in,
Full length plastic zip, with velcro fastened storm flap - however, there isn't a second fastener to enable it to be opened from the bottom
Fleece collar lining - no chilly neck or drips
Two zipped pockets on outer body, one zipped pocket on left sleeve - all a bit too shallow for me, and I'm left handed, so the sleeve pocket not ideal
One mesh inside pocket - a good size
Sleeves have inner elastic cuffs and outer velcro closures
Inside waist elasticated

Outside, the jacket is smart, not garishly logo'ed or coloured.

Performance seems very good - breathable and water resistant in the lowland conditions I live in.

Overall, a very good jacket at a reasonable price.

This is a good all-rounder bad-weather jacket—I''ve been testing it in the coldest part of January in the north of England. The quality is excellent for the price—nice details, crisp cut and excellent materials. There's various draw-string and Velcro adjustments, and a quirky thumb loop on the cuffs. As a regular user of a Berghaus AQ2 jacket+fleece combo, it's been great to wear a jacket with simpler, fuss-free form. As a small-size, I found it a generous fit—though I'm particular short/slim, so the size is probably spot on.

A great jacket for out door sports types and also for walking your dog in winter!

It's unique selling point is something called Ultraflow - which provides great waterproof and breathable properties - well, according to the manufacturers 😀

In use it's proved to be very effective at repealing even heavy rain and surprisingly good at keeping the wearer from getting too sweaty!

It's got all the practical features you'd expect such as detachable hood, sleeve fasteners you can adjust to suit your needs, cord at the waist and so on.

All helping you secure a good fit that obviously helps keep the weather out.

It's a comfortable fit (mine was a L size) and allows for good ease of movement: a real pleasure to use!

Two other things to note: it's expensive as these type of garments tend to be but cheaper than many similar products. And it must be washed on a dlicates setting ......

Recommended.

Cercavo una giacca sportiva, da indossare durante il tempo libero nella stagione invernale, abbinata a vestiaro sportivo e scarpe da ginnastica, per star comodo e alternare l'abbigliamento lavorativo giornaliero, senz'altro piu' elegante, ma meno "agile" .
Direi che ho fatto "bingo"! Buon prezzo, ottima qualità percepita, la giacca si è rivelata morbida, ben rifinita ed anche piuttosto calda; credo che a temperature molto rigide, sottozero per intenderci, si patisca il freddo, ma sopra lo zero nessun problema!
Per concludere, assolutamente consigliata

GIACCA INVERNALE ULTRASPORT DAVOS

Giacca invernale sportiva dal look sobrio. Ha una tecnologia che le consente di essere antipioggia, antivento e traspirante. Ha la chiusura a zip celata da una a velcro che riesce a coprire il collo in modo ottimale. Ha un buon cappuccio attaccato alla giacca tramite una chiusura con bottoni a pressione quindi rimovibile. Ha dei mezzi guanti in jersey alla fine delle maniche ed una cintura elastica interna in vita con bottoni a pressione il cui scopo è quello di non far passare il vento. Ha due tasche medie davanti ed una piccola sulla manica sinistra per lo skipass tutte con chiusura a zip. L' unica pecca che ho riscontrato è la mancanza di tasche interne con chiusura a zip per riporre documenti e/o portafoglio (c'è solo una tasca interna a retina a destra ma ahimè è aperta). In conclusione si tratta di una giacca tecnica di buona fattura con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Super tolle Jacke für meine nächtliche Beschäftigung bei Zeitungszustellung.

Diese Winterjacke ist sehr preiswert. Ich dachte, wenn die Jacke kommt, werde ich sie zurück schicken. Aber als ich sie erhalten habe, verliebte ich gleich an sie! Sie sitzt an mir wie angegossen, ist warm und angenehm leicht. Die Jacke ist nicht bunt, aber hat schõne Muster. Das ist das, was ich bei meiner Arbeit brauche. Ich brauchte nicht eine Größe kleiner bestellen, weil ich zwischen der Größe L und XL befinde. Ich bin sehr zufrieden, weil ich nicht wollte, viel Geld in meine Arbeit investieren. Lieber kaufe ich mir teure gute Schuhe, um keine Fußschmerzen zu haben. Und die Jacke erfüllt sein Zweck: warm, winddicht, atmungsaktiv, leicht, bewegungsfrei und ich hoffe: bei meinem 2 Stunden Job werde ich nicht naß. Danke Ultra Sport für gute Geschenk! Ich empfehle die Skijacke weiter.

Funktion/Passform/Preis-mega!

Durch Zufall gefunden und für den Preis macht man nichts falsch. Die Jacke passt mir in L super (1,86m, 90kg, breitere Schultern). Die dicke der Fütterung ließ mich nach dem Auspacken ins Stuzen kommen, muss aber sagen: ja, sie hält warm (Radfahrt bei ca 0 Grad bestanden). Nix kalter Wind, kein Frieren, kein Schwitzen in der Jacke - TOP!
Super ist der Kordelzug zum Anpassen der Kapuze (die ist recht groß); die Daumenschlaufen am Ärmel ( nix Wind oder Schnee im Ärmel; der innenliegende, breite, angenehm zu tragende Gurt, der die Jacke von unten her verschließt (nix Schnee oder Wind rein); der leichtgängige Reißverschluss, der mit überlappendem Bündchen per Klett und Drückknöpfen abgedeckt wird; die angenehm großen Taschen (verschließbar mit Reißverschluss); sowie die kleine Jacke am linken Unterarm.
Bisher hat diese Jacke alles gehalten, was sie verspricht! Der Preis (der Jacke mit blauen Applikationen) ist unschlagbar.
Nächste Woche wird die Jacke bei um die 5 Grad und ordentlich Wind bei der Bernsteinsuche am Meer auf Winddichtigkeit und Regenschutz getestet :-)
