Elm is much more green than photos would suggest

I liked the pants. They fit nice, but the colour was not what i was expecting. In photos, the Elm colour looks dark grey with a hint of green. In reality they are much closer to an 'army green'.

I bought 3 pairs from Amazon. I have other rigby pants purchased from a box store here in Canada. These ones are different, they don’t have the tool pockets on either side only one larger pocket on the right. I am a tradesman and always have tools in my pockets. I do like that they got rid of the hammer loop ( it was useless anyway) but I do miss having tool pockets on the left.

They are comfortable, have stretch and are great for the tradesmen in the field. It’s nice that they don’t look like typical work pants and can be dressed up with a good pair of shoes they’ll look like normal chinos. This is carhartt and built for work.

I bought the same exact pair of pants a while ago. Same style number and everything but this new pair has subtle differences. Notably the old pair has triple stitching in the inseam, new pair double. Old pair has a cut that I really feel comfortable in, but the new pair has bigger (wider) legs. The legs bunch up in the ankles look like a clown. (I ordered the same size, obviously.) The material also feels lighter. These are not cheap pants. The old pair was definitely worth the price in my opinion, but the new pair is going back regrettably. I ordered online knowing what to expect in terms of cut and material but they changed the deal on me.

For half a hundred these things should last at least a year, unfortunately I have a pair of these and 4 other carhartt pants bought about the same time (other 4 are supposed to be even tougher" and they all wear out the seams and fronts within about 3-4 months, I still use them, but have to wear mandex underneath so nothing falls out.

Nice and comfortable, by far my favorite work pants, but just hard justify 50 for pants that are just going to get filthy dirty oily and then fail in 4-5 months.

Would be really nice if you didnt actually work in them though, they look good and feel good.
