Great Quality, Superb Warmth.

A lovely soft warm material that’s comfortable and not heavy to wear. The zip gives plenty of space for cooling down on warmer days but gives great up to the neck insulation on the colder winter nights, a superb garment of exceptional quality that can be worn by those working outside or like myself as a person who works in a cold storage warehouse. Fruit of the loom sweatshirts have always been my garment of choice when it comes to quality, warmth and longevity of wear, they last very well and fit very well with good comfort. I’m very happy with my purchase having bought 3 in black, red, and navy blue. F.O.T.L. are a name you can rely on and I have no hesitation in recommending them to all who read this review.

Far too small

The quality is good for the price, but the sizing is way too small. Clothing manufacturer's really need to get their collective acts together and all work to the same size standards. I am fed up of ordering clothes because they are always either too small or way too large, and by the time I get back onto the Amazon website to buy the correct size for a particular garment, it's always out of stock, or only available in some hideous, traffic-cone orange, colour.

Purchased for use at work, I've had a logo embroidered on it and the company who did it said the fabric was fine to embroider onto (unlike some cheaper thin ones).
I'm a 42-44 inch chest and this fits spot on.
Usual Fruit-of-the-loom quality at reasonable price.
I've worn mine regularly since buying it and it's been washed quite a few times already, but shows no signs of fading or shrinking.
OVERALL - Pretty good quality and reasonable price

I've now bought three of these sweatshirts. I only ordered one at first as it seemed a bit too cheap to be any good. However I was amazed to find the material and construction were perfect so I ordered two more. They're really fleecy inside and they keep that and their shape and size even after washing. I've found them to be warm and very comfortable to wear and I may even buy some more yet. I'm a 48 inch chest and found the XXL fitted well with room underneath for a tee or other shirt. Highly recommended.

the sweater is comfortable to wear however i don't like the ends of the sleeves being a different material from the rest of the sleeve, it goes from a soft comfortable sleeve to a less soft sleeve. using the jumper with a mouse and keyboard is kinda uncomfortable because you rest your wrists on the uncomfortable part of the sleeves. other than that the sweater is soft on the inside which is good. i'm not a big fan of this sweater overall but it's ok.

Nothing really wrong with the quality of these, I’m fairly big and broad and the initial fit was spot on, very comfortable. But after a few washes I have found that they have shrunk a fair bit. That being said, I would never consider sizing up just to allow for shrinkage because the fit would probably be all over the place! But perhaps a cool wash would be better with these...

This is the second garment I've bought the first being the same design but dark blue. Ok for the money. UK size large is about right for a UK size L. Hasn't been through a washing machine yet or seen much use. I'll keep this review updated as time passes. Many thanks for reading this. This was a Christmas present for my husband which ended up being too small .. I must say I nearly didn’t bother sending it back because of the hassle but I’m glad I did .. it was a doddle .. the larger size fitted a treat and came a couple of days after I’d returned the fist one ..I will even be sending for another one of these as we are delighted with it the quality is excellent and what can I say about the price !! An absolute bargain 👍

I came back to this page, looking for an additional colour to the navy one I bought 2 years ago. I thought, while I was here, I should leave a review.

Well, after 2 years, the sweatshirt is like new. It has been washed 20+ times and there is no adding, or loss of shape. I have worn it as a smart top, over a shirt to work. I have worn it to the pub, and just lounging round the house. It looks at home in any setting.

Fantastic product and great to see that the price is still the same after 2 years.

You actually get the fruit of the loom lable inside but would prefer the famous logo on outside on your chest also you do not have to wear garments underneath because so smooth and comfy
