Good boot but not great. Comfortable and waterproof but not very warm, sole is quick to wear and the lace hooks can be a pain (require long laces that lay on the floor and get wet when not wearing boots). I have had other Timberland boots in the past that I liked more. Boots are not bulky and easy to walk in.

Scuffs up pretty easily and the laces are way to damn long. Nice boots for about a day until they get all scratched up. I usually take really good care of my boots.

I normally wear a 10.5R so ordered a size 11 R initially thinking that I wanted extra room for thicker socks but the boot was way too narrow even though the length fit fine with regular socks. I returned it for a size 11W which I received promptly, it was a little bit better but it is also a tight fit width-wise. I plan to keep this pair and just see if they will loosen up over the course of usage.

Why the 3 star review? sadly mine came badly scuffed, and what looks to be superglue (or something?) dripped all over the front of one of them and it wont come off. Due to all that, cosmetically they do not look so great but they would look awesome without all that. However they fit and feel awesome! I love the fit and how comfortable they are! that alone earns a good rating from me. if they would have came new like they was suppose to, i would have happily rated them 5 stars. If you want some boots that fit great and feel even better, grab these!

I was looking for a new set of boots for hiking in the northwest. Mostly day or overnight, not heavy backpacking and these boots are well made with a good solid feel to them, but not too heavy. From a fit perspective, they fit as expected on length, but they are narrow. I ordered the wide option because I like an open toe box, but even at wide they felt snug (and my feet are a little wide, but I mostly wear "normal" width shoes without a problem. Ended up returning them, but would work for some just not me.

Boots fit great! comfortable. love the way it laces. Does not chew up the laces like previous versions. However, I would have thought the boots would keep my feet warm throughout the day. Being outside for about 4 hours, my feet were not able to stay warm. Need more insulation Timberland to truly be a quality boot.

These boots do not qualify as waterproof. They leak at the lower laces level. I have other boots such as my Keens or my Asolos that really are waterproof up to near the top of the holes for the laces.
