Poor shoe.

My old merrells were an 11 and fitted great, these were an 11 too but were way too small ! They didn’t look very good either, hard to explain but didn’t look like the normal shape of a shoe ? Bit, rounded, pumped up, sent them back.

Wet spot after walking in morning dew. I am retired 70 yrs. young with daily walks with my 2.5 yr. old German Shepard. Going to try Merrell directly now. Show much for that SUB PRIME SERVICE.

the rubber is coming unglued after only 1 year of normal use. cracks in bottom rubber--not waterproof--leaks into shoes and feet get wet. inner insole tips to the inside of foot--so you walk tipped on your feet--cannot fix that! I used to buy 2 pairs every few years because my family liked them. the quality has gone down hill, don't last 1 year?! really?! I had a pair of biker boots last me over 13 years--good quality--great company.
you need to step up and cover the price and returns of these junk quality shoes. company is using cheaper products and raising the prices....

Terribly uncomfortable

I was looking for a pair of boots to wear when fishing, and was told Merrell boots were super comfortable. Sadly, I cannot say I have had this experience. I have had the shoes for almost two months now and have yet to be able to stand for over an hour without my feet hurting. They are tolerable when walking, but comfortable would never be a word I would even think of using to describe them. I had high expectations for them, but After wearing them I will not recommend these shoes to anyone.

Probably the first and last Merrell shoes I will ever buy. I hate these shoes! They are too tight, I wear a 9.5 and have narrow feet. Ordered a 9.5. The laces come undone constantly, the insole is thin and cheap , and they are not water proof at all as advertised. Just walking in wet grass my socks were soaked, not a good value at all.

I have worn Merrell for years as my walkers and for light hiking. Unfortunately these are unwearable due to what seems to be changes in design and construction. The back of the shoe comes in very steeply above the heel, leaving space behind the heel BUT then the back rubs against the top of my heel. To make things worse, there is a seam there--which I never noticed in any in any previous Merrells. I can feel that seam rub against my heel and I can tell it will result in a blister if I walk more than a few minutes in these. So, completely useless for my purposes! I will see if any other Merrell models don't have this problem.

I ordered a size 11 but they fit like a size 10 or 10.5. I wore them on the trails thinking they would break in and be fine. Nope. I should have returned them after first trying them on. Really disappointed in the shoes. Never again.
