Good carhartt vest. Have to be a little careful if using as a heavy work vest. Feel like it could tear easy. 5-10 200lbs bought Xlrg big enough for a hoodie underneath.

Doesn't Have the Traditional Carhartt "Heft"

I actually like that this is a lightweight vest with very little bulk to it. But, it isn't what I was expecting it to be. It will be good for spring, summer and early Fall but I was expecting it to be a bit heavier. It doesn't have the traditional "heft" of a Carhartt product. Which is positive and negative. The positive is that even my wife has said "I really like the cut of that. It's really nice." Typically anything I buy Carhartt she thinks makes me look like a construction worker. This vest could easily have a Columbia, REI or Patagonia logo on it and nobody would think twice. The negative is that it is light and I question if it will hold up as well as the typical Carhartt products and their heavy, durable weight. Time will tell. But, I really like it anyway.

It's a good product. I like the amount of pockets. The thermal aspect of it could be a little better, as well as the length. I'm 5'11" and 170 lbs. I ordered a medium, which makes it nice for using as an under layer, but as an outer layer, I have to tuck in my shirts or else they will hang out the bottom. Could of gone for a large, but I like layering and don't want to be baggy.

This is one of my favorite vests but I always leave my Carhartt shirts untucked but I just wish the length was longer. It is longer in the back but the front is really short. I still wear it and just live with it but this would have been a five star if they offered a big and tall longer option. Most of my other vests are longer in the front like I like but definitely worth getting.

Great vest it's light yet warm and isn't too poofy like a down vest would be. I am 5'10 medium upper 32x32 pant size and it fits me perfect.

Only thing I didn't like about the vest is the design of the pockets they are backwards as in the flaps open forward. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying.
