If your hiking in Scotland autumn, winter then bye this .A modular systems but the C4 on it's own is great keeps you warm also it drys out great if it gets wet .

Brilliant bag very pleased with it,got it to replace a snugpak special forces 2 after the zip(nowhere near up to the job) failed after 12 months. Looking forward to the autumn/winter as it's not cold enough to use at the moment.

Used in a wynnchster bivvy in temperatures around 0c and for general camping. This is a seriously good quality Austrian sleeping bag. Will be using again over new year in UK and will put in the extra £65 grizzly fleece liner. So good my teenage daughter wants one the same. So good my son and wife also want them. I am 5ft 9inch 12 stone and have the 180cm which is the correct bag but wish I’d got the 200cm for the extra bit of head room.

Ich nutze diesen Schlafsack nun den 3ten Winter in Folge und bin begeistert. Bis auf das etwas große Packmass aufgrund der Kunstfaser Füllung tut der Schlafsack was er soll. Er ist kuschelig warm, in einem schönen grün und zudem in seiner Form und Handhabung super einfach zu bedienen.

Robuster Reißverschluss in der oberen Mitte des Schlafsacks sorgt für Sicherheit in der Nacht ohne daß er unnötig von selbst wieder aufgehen würde.

Kaputze lässt sich mit kordelzug einfach zuziehen und schützt somit vor Kälte und Wind.

Bin voll auf zufrieden.

Für mich ist der Defence 4, der beste DREI Jahres Schlafsack. Er ist flauschig, lässt sich super komprimieren, durch das G-Loft entfaltet er sich schon nach wenigen Minuten nachdem er aus den Kompressionssack ist. Der 2-Wege Reißverschluss klemmt bzw hakt nicht, plus schöner klett für die Äußere Kältebrücke. Ich habe ihn in der Größe 185cm genommen. Bin selbst 177cm/74kg, und habe gut Platz im Fuß und Schulterbereich. Kann mich auch mal zur Seite drehen, alles kein problem und sehr gemütlich! Über und unter dem Reißverschluss wurde eine dicke Kältebrücke angebracht und das "Guckloch" lässt sich so weit zu ziehen dass nur noch der Mund und die Nase heraus gucken. Eine Kältebrücke im oberen Brustbereich hat er nicht, ist ja auch ein Schlafsack aus der Carinthia Military reihe. Werde ihn in den nächsten Monaten ausgiebig Testen an den wirklich kalten Tagen/Nächten in Bayern. Im Frühjahr werde ich ein Statement hier nochma veröffentlichen.
