Passt nur für bic classic lighter, nicht für mini oder maxi...

Den "bic classic lighter" gibt es nicht mehr im Handel. Es gibt nur noch "mini" oder "maxi". Für beide Modelle ist diese Hülle nicht geeignet. Das muss deutlich in der Produktbeschreibung erwähnt werden. Der jetzige Preis von 26.- Euro ist lächerlich hoch.

die kappe lässt sich nicht aufsetzen ohne, dass sich diese wieder von alleine löst (die kompremierte Luft drückt sie einfach wieder auf)
die feststelllasche lässt sich schwer aufziehen und rutscht von alleine wieder ab
komplett sinnloses faildesign ....

attention n'est pas du tout étanche juste posé à vide dans l'eau, flotte ( merci Archimède) , mais en 30 secondes il y a déjà de l'eau dans l'étui... de plus apres un weekend de rando le bouchon avait sauté (dans ma poche) du coup le briquet pu se vider sans que je ne le sache...
A éviter si vous souhaitez vous en servir pour sécuriser un briquet. Je vais encore devoir passer par du bricolage ducktape mais à ce prix là...

le capuchon ne tien pas et la languette qui est prevu pour garder le gaz ouvert ne tiens pas non plus.

j'utilise bien sur un briquet bic classic maxi made in France (a moins qu'il faut qu'il soit aussi made usa)

la! je peux dire que c'est de la belle mer... MADE IN USA

pas la peine d'exporter ça en France merci

The cap won’t stay on so what’s the point? I thought $16 was a bit much but on impulse I bought it anyway. Wow once I had it in my hand not only is $16 to much $6 would be too much. It’s just a piece of silicone and a piece of plastic which probably cost about 5 cents to manufacture. Not only that but because it’s two different materials the rubberish silicone just pops the hard plastic cap right off. Seriously press the cap on as hard as you want and seconds later the cap is off. Pointless. There should be a class action lawsuit against this company.

I was thinking this was just what I needed but when I put the cap on it it slowly slips off by itself, I can’t imagine it staying on in a pocket pack or pouch. Yes the lighter is in correctly and seated all the way. If it wasn’t such a pain to return I would but sadly it’ll end up in a drawer or chunked in the trash.

I overlooked the price with reluctance because there is nothing else like it on the market. Its just a rubber sleeve with a hard plastic lid. The lid does not fit securely, meaning it doesn't "click" shut rather it slips over 3 rubber fins that tend to want to push it back off. Bumping the lid can easily cause you to lose it. Also, the rubber strap designed to hold down the gas button on the lighter is not easy to use. It is difficult to slip it over the gas button without getting it caught under the gas button or breaking the lighter by using too much force. Made in USA, engineered with flaws, price made me feel like a fool . But it looks cool.

Great idea, terrible execution. I was so excited when I found this. What a disappointment it turned out to be.
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering one. Apparently I am not the only one for whom the cap won't seat properly and won't stay on. And that is patiently and repeatedly trying, with warm fingers, sitting at my desk, in good light. If I have to baby it to get mediocre results under good conditions, then I'm certainly not going to count on it still being attached, let alone working at the end of the day when I'm tired and trying to light a fire with cold, wet fingers in the dark. At twenty dollars, I shouldn't have to re engineer it or rig a fail safe. The marketing campaign is its' best feature. It is going back.
