A pretty decent water sandal

A pretty decent water sandal. Being made of a rubber/plastic, it doesn't breath, but it also doesn't take on water. There are small channels/groves which I assume are there to help your feet breath and move standing water. I've worn these outside and in the shower and they work as expected. My only complaint is that the white adidas stripes stain easily enough, in my case with brown mud. I'd have rathered a plain all black design, but depending on your aesthetic preferences, the strips are a striking design feature. Normally I'd have gone with the cheapest option possible (off brand) for something like water sandals, but the reviews for the cheaper options made me question durability. Overall, despite costing more than some other options, I'm happy with their overall construction.

I purchased these for short term usage: At home, at hotels, or on the airplane. They are easy to clean, so I don't mind getting them dirty from hotel usage. However, they would be pretty uncomfortable if I were to walk for long periods of time in them, as the strap is too low for me and pushes down on my feet if I walk for too long.

Advantages:
- Easy to clean
- Seemingly strong construction
- Wide, good for wide feet
- Comfortable for short periods of time

Disadvantages:
The strap is too constricting for broad/tall feet; if you walk too long in them (particularly with socks if you wear those indoors or at your hotel), your feet will be pushed in and your blood flow will be impacted.

Got these for my boyfriend for our trip to Mexico and they are absolutely perfect for the beach and walking around the resort. They are actually really comfortable to walk in but my only complaint is the lack of cushioning. For a few days you'll be okay to wear this but his feet were a bit sore if he didn't alternate with other sandals.

We were gone for 10 days and if had lots of wear at the beach but they still look good as new! For this price point I'd definitely recommend

I have a pair of Adidas Superstar slides that I bought about 7 years ago. I've used them every day since. Toughest and most comfortable slide/flip flop's I've ever had! They were starting to show some signs of excessive wear in some areas (although I'm still wearing them), so naturally, I was going to replace them with their latest counterparts. A definable no brainier!

These don't have the memory foam soles like the old Superstars, but they're completely waterproof, which the old ones weren't. Still very comfortable though. Hope they turn out to be as durable as the 'ol Superstars. Love these slides!!

Very comfortable - almost forgot I was wearing them. Probably not good for people with flat feet since there is a bit of a raised center part on the sole for the arch of the foot, which is not a problem for me.. Of course they'll brake-in too..
