Better than expected

For a lightweight jacket this is just what I wanted. It has four pockets (two inner and two outer - one of the inner pockets had a button for security) and a mesh lining which doesn't show in the photograph..It packs very flat and doesn't take up much space in a suitcase. For the price - a bargain!

Poor quality control and customer service

Whilst this product is fine as it goes, the finish is poor - long thread ends from the machining not trimmed back, and in this case no buttons on the left cuff. I have emailed the seller via Amazon but have not had a reply in the time frame expected. I shall buy some buttons when the local haberdashery shop reopens to correct this problem, but overall it is a case of "you gets what you pays for". This jacket was cheap, but quality control was not top of this producers agenda! It is really too much bother to send the item back, but I am not a happy customer..

Jacket arrived quickly and fits well. The only problem was there were no button holes on the cuffs for fastening. I wanted to send it back but it would have meant travelling to a post office. I am choosing to self-isolate and didn't want to leave the home. Also I would have needed to pay the return postage and I always thought you didn't pay return postage when the item was faulty. Anyway the company ignored my concerns so I have kept the jacket and sowed the cuffs together. Very disappointed but the jacket is still good value.

Very comfortable summer jacket with soft fantastic feeling on the fabric. One small comment only I will add. The color on the photo is bright and light beige/stone what I wanted but the reality is different. The color is kind of light green olive color with a label on the package "Stone". But other than that is a very good jacket with an excellent price. Thanks a lot!!!

Having had to ditch a jacket several times the price of this Birkdale jacket because it caused so much sweating, and then looking pretty much everywhere to find a summer weight jacket that doesn't have the same problem, without success, he was delighted with this Birkdale jacket. Quite smart, no sweating, excellent for the price.
