Nice Surprise!

I was so surprised at the quality. The most important part is they have a really thick springy sole. I have massive problems finding shoes that fit me because I have very broad feet especially near the toes. But these fit really well I have walked for long distances, road bicycles, and gone jogging. They really hold up and feel like they will last a long time. Very impressed when I normally have so many problems with shoes!

I ordered a par of all black trainers....Very comfortable, and fit well. Because of this, I ordered these white soled version. They are completely different trainers. (Hence some reviews saying lovely and comfy. Fit well. Then other reviews saying too small etc). Although these trainers are all being sold as the same trainer with different colours. They are completely different trainers. I recommend the all black version. These (black with white sole) are awful.

Not Breathable & Heel Falling Off

They look breathable but are not. These shoes make me sweat as they do not let any air in or out. I have other shoes that I do not sweat in, therefore I know the difference. The heel is coming off and makes a squeegee sound every time I walk. If you don`t mind that every body knows you are coming and your feet smell funny then these are for you.

This is a cheap trainer and rather on the smaller side. Having heeded similar reviews, I ordered one size up and the shoe fits.
Also, I have considered the price charged (£16.99) and that is adequate.
I bought the trainers for work to wear something and that I can leave laying around if need be. If you seek a performance trainer or similar, then this is not a good shoe at all. However, if you are not really bothered and need the shoe for e.g. walking around at home, then it will be adequate.

Fell apart!!

Now bought 2 pairs .. and about to buy another! No this doesn't mean they wear out quickly, only that I wear them (almost) every day, in all weathers/ conditions! My only (minor) gripe is that the laces are much too long, even when 'double bowed' so i have cut them and sealed with a flame from a lighter. This is updated May 2019: The inner sole is so loose that I have to stop every few yards and adjust but possibly more of an issue, is that one of the tongues has completely detached from the shoe! Imagine having to put the tongue in .. I balance in on my foot .. before putting the shoe on! Very disappointed, hence change in my review. I've had loads of these before but never found them deteriorating so quickly.

These are ok for the price and better than expected considering how cheap they are. Unfortunately the first pair ordered were lost in transit so had to order again, the second order arrived promptly. Fairly comfy and size is correct. I am a size 8 so I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly with even a little room to wear thicker socks on a colder day. Some reviewers have said order a size up but this was not the case for me. Overall they seem quite well made only time will tell if they last.

First off hi one size up to normal size.

Other than that I have no complaints for this trainer.
I have a pair and also got my son several pairs to start sizes were not small enough for my son so ordered plain black in ladies they are exactly the same trainer.

I have now got him several pairs he keeps growing so his other ones are still in good condition.

Mine has lasted well over a year and still plenty of life in then.

I recommend these shoes for the money there is nothing wrong with the lasting quality of these.

I needed some walking shoes which I could pop on for a daily lunchtime walk as my work shoes were not the most suitable for a daily 3+ mile stroll. Also wanted something that was inexpensive, yet supportive, light and last of all understated. I wanted soft black shoes that didn't shout or throw brand names about...

Well....I got themand they do exactly as I needed.

Fit is good. Good support and cushioning. A few breaking in problems with the right but a few days of easy wear at the weekend sorted that. I'm tempted to buy another pair to use at home....

Updated 5weeks in....having put around 120+ miles of fast walking on these....they are suffering. I reckon another month and they'll be sadly decommissioned..

I bought this trainer intending to use it as a cheap and cheerful set to do chores and use to go between the inside and outside of the house where slippers wouldn't really be appropriate. I was not expecting much from them, and to be honest they didn't exceed my expectations.

The two main issues I have with them is that the outsole, whilst adequate, is vulnerable to piercing by pretty much anything. If you walk gravel you will feel it through the material, it is sortof like you're walking on perhaps 3 or 4 layered insoles. I did some work in the garden and stepped on the branch of a bramble which went straight through the outsole and into my foot.

Secondly, the back of the trainer (collar) is vulnerable to getting deformed if the ball of your foot makes contact with it when you put your foot inside. I managed to deform the internal material of the collar within 24 hours of receiving them, simply by trying to slip my foot inside while it was already done up (but not tightly). Consequently, the material has been pushed down the back of the trainer, and now presses into the back of my ankle, with the actual outer material of the collar having no integrity anymore. I was very disappointed in this.

In terms of using them for exercise, the lack of cushioning in the outsole would mean you'd feel every impact if using a treadmill, for example. Also although the trainers look like they are breathable, they're are not and wearing them for extended periods leaves your feet "smothered". I can only imagine this would be exacerbated if you tried to use them for exercise.

All in all, ok for using around the house and for basic chores, but don't expect much else from them.

Man, either my feet have grown from size 8's to size 12's or these "trainers" using that word loosely are tiny, can't even get my damn feet in them and they're so narrow.
There's no weight to them at all, terrible foam souls you expect from beach shoes you buy from the dodgy guy on his cart for 2 quid, wear for a day then throw em in the sea.
Seriously hacked off with these, thought i was getting a bargain at £18 but £5 would honestly be overpriced, they're that bad.
Now have to go through the hassle of sending them back, wait for a refund before I can afford some more.
Gonna stick to buying from actual shops in future, shoes aren't the kinda thing you can buy online it seems until they invent a virtual size app.
