Excellent quality , look smart, order bigger then usual size.

The sizing of these shorts is is a lot smaller than expected so you need to order a couple of sizes bigger than your normal size. These are 3XXXL my husband is usually a normal XL and these shorts fit him perfectly. They come a couple of inches below his knee in length and he is approx 5` 8 and he wears 29" length in full length jeans, waist approx 35 / 36".The length can be altered a bit using the webbing ties at the knees.They are very well made, all the stitching is doubled or trebled making the seams and pockets very strong. There are loads of pockets as you would expect in cargo shorts all with a popper closure. They have a zip fly and a good strong webbed canvas belt. The brand logo is on one of the pockets at the front.The material is of a very good quality, thick and weighty. They are a smart looking pair of shorts.The price reflects the excellent quality of these shorts which Im sure will last a very long time.

I'm considering lowering my rating to one star, such is my disappointment with these. If I didn't know better I'd think I'd been sent factory seconds or a pair of customer return shorts. The creases on these when they came out of the bag look like they're never coming out and would need to be washed and ironed before wearing to have a chance of getting them crease free. They had just been stuffed into the bag and not nicely folded.
The other thing worthy of note was the missing button on the front to hold them closed. I checked the bag but it wasn't in there either so I'm back to thinking it was a customer return.

Either that or the manufacturers quality control is sorely lacking.. Very disappointing before I had even tried them on. Considering the current asking price they're as far away from good value as I can imagine.

I am reviewing a so called large size 50. This is a perfect fit for me. I am size 34 waist, about 5 ft 8 ins so take this as your benchmark. I guess it is serendipitous that it fits as well as it does.
They are made of a good quality strong chino cotton and it feels cool and comfortable. Pockets are fastened with studs except the side ones. The pockets on the legs have a double stud fastening and the hip ones a single stud. The belt is a simple web with easy loop through fastening. The fly has a really strong best quality zip. One of the reviewers does not like the logo on the side... Really it's not so bad and is in a quiet grey which tones well with the black garment.. This imho is nothing to worry about and I am in conservative middle age. Really nice comfortable garment.

The pants arrived on time as expected(Amazon is always on time) They fit well. The belt is sturdy and the fabric quite thick. This is a quality item that I would expect to last several years. Certainly as long or longer than any pair of jeans which is the other clothes item I would compare it to in terms of ruggedness and comfort. Good holiday pants for a hot climate

They are very well made.

They are very stylish.

They fitted superbly well.

They come with a nice webbed belt, that matches the shorts.

I will wear them constantly in the summer months.

But £40.!!!

Overpriced generic cargo shorts

These are a pair of well-made, well-styled generic cargo shorts, complete with military-style webbing belt, that are only spoiled by one of those cheap-looking logos on the side pocket that claims them to be 'authentic' and 'vintage' They are authentically shorts, certainly, but in my experience, anyway, vintage clothing is generally not identifiable by the fact that it has 'Vintage' printed on it. In fact, I'd say almost the opposite was the case.

Marketing linguistics aside, the other issue is why they cost 40 quid, which takes you certainly into upper-end high street boutique territory and even in reach of designer gear if you shop around. I know they're available in extremely large sizes, but fabrics not that expensive..

Im Amazon Fashion Sale gibt es immer mal wieder Schnäppchen, bei denen ich gerne zuschlage. Wie zum Beispiel bei der Lower East Herren Cargo Shorts mit Gürtel, Gr. 52 (Herstellergröße: XL), Schwarz . Meine ersten Eindrücke und Erfahrungen möchte ich nun kurz schildern:

⊕/⊖ Erster Eindruck
Der erste Eindruck war gemischt. Wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, macht die Hose einen leicht “zerknitterten” Eindruck. Dementsprechend war ich nach dem Auspacken etwas skeptisch. Positiv war, dass der Stoff relativ dick ist und die Hose einen stabilen Eindruck macht.

⊕ Größe
Anprobe: ich bin 186 cm und wiege circa 100 Kilo. Dementsprechend habe ich die Größe 52 (XL) bestellt und war überrascht, dass die Hose gleich so gut gepasst hat. Sitzt sehr gut, hat bei mir noch etwas Luft und kann mit dem Gürtel angepasst werden.

⊕⊕ Tragekomfort und Taschen
Für mich das positive Highlight. Der Baumwollstoff fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an und auch nach einem langen Spaziergang – meine Frau und ich sind 8 km auf Feldwegen gewandert – keine Hautreizungen oder Ähnliches. Was mir noch positiv aufgefallen ist, ist die Anzahl der Taschen. Ideal zum Wandern, vorne 2 große Taschen an den Beinen, die mit jeweils 2 Druckknöpfen geschlossen werden können. Hinten nochmals 2 Taschen mit jeweils 1 Druckknopf. So kann man alles Wichtige direkt in der Hose verstauen. Die Schnür-Möglichkeit der Hosenbeine gefällt mir ebenfalls sehr gut – wie man auf den Fotos sieht, lasse ich aber am liebsten die Schnüre einfach herunterhängen.

⊕ Qualität & Haltbarkeit
Auch mit vollen Taschen hat die Hose keinerlei Probleme gehabt. Die Nähte sind ordentlich und stabil, es stehen auch keinerlei Schnüre oder Ähnliches ab. Bisher bin ich super zufrieden. Sollten sich bzgl. Haltbarkeit noch Probleme ergeben, werde ich die Rezension entsprechend anpassen.

⊕ Preis
Im Fashion Sale bei Amazon hat die Hose 19,48 Euro gekostet. Hier kann man sich ebenfalls nicht beschweren.

Fazit: Eine qualitativ hochwertige und bequeme Hose mit zahlreichen Taschen für lange Ausflüge. Für den Preis im Sale auch noch super günstig. Klar, dass es von mir dafür 5 Sterne gibt!
