Black chino shorts with pockets down the legs too.

OK, this is one day of wearing, but for the money, these are a nice fit, seem reasonably heavy duty material (heavier than I remember chinos in the past), but without making them warm or uncomfortable to wear. Deep, buttoned back pockets are actually maybe a little too deep, although means someone has to serious dig deep to get stuff from them. Front/side pockets could be a little deeper perhaps, as depending on how you're sitting, you could easily drop stuff out of them, although longer fingered people would probably get more from the change pocket at the front for coins. Leg pockets are pretty good, one zipped, one velcro and a small one that's a good size for picks and hair bands, etc.
For £12, these seem like decent buy. Let's see if I need to update the review after a few washes, or if the button fly doesn't last as well as I'd like, but at this price, if they last until autumn, I wouldn't be too upset.
