Really happy with this! Was a bit dubious as to what size to buy (I’m female, 170cm, usually size 12 trousers) but went for a medium and they’re dead on.
Pockets are really handy and sturdy. Like other people have said the clasps don’t hold the straps very well but there’s easy fixes for that. There’s an amazing elastic stretch panel in the back and slightly elasticated at the waist/hips which makes it actually really comfy.
I’ve been wearing it non stop for the last couple of weeks for gardening work and it’s doing brilliantly!
I’d definitely recommend. I’ll be buying more to cut into shorts for the summer!

Buying only portwest b&b for last 13 years. I can see the quality going down every year. Stitches in one of the pockets fall Apart after one day not 6 months like in a past. Generally speaking stitches is the only problem with them trousers. Buying my missus Singer sewing machine solved the problem. Little bit expensive solution but works perfect 😁. I hope portwest will improve the quality soon. If not i will carry on buying crap as is the best crap available for the price. Got a pair from Arco , triple price same problem.

Bought these about a month ago and worn for a while every day during a garden makeover. I'm a 32waist 29 leg, in my late 50s time has caught up with me, so now take a 42 jacket to button over my tummy. Size Medium worked fine, legs needed taking up, used iron-on tape whick worked okay. No discernible shrinkage after several washes at 40 deg. Zips, buttons and pockets are all doing their job, no problems there. Shoulder strap buckles do tend to let the straps slip through after a while when I'm bending/stretching, which I think is acceptable as I'm pulling against them. The addition of a discretely placed safety pin solved that. For around £20 I have no complaints. For weekend and evening hobby work they're decent overalls.

I would have given it five stars but for the fact that the buckles tend to give quite easily as opposed to holding the straps in place so you might find yourself having to adjust the straps as you go along. BIG BIG PLUS the knee pads sit perfectly, other work trousers either ride up or are to low so you have to keep adjusting every time you are on your knees, my wife doesn't think I look cool in them though lolol

As observed by a previous reviewer the straps give under pressure , if they are threaded differently ie thread back through the first entry ? They do not slip when under pressure , which includes a tall XL bending to be avoided when possible 🤔 this pair have added to a previous pair which I’ve used for several years eventually the elastic on the shoulder to lower back gave way which I had sowed up and still use , so I recommend.

They’re really comfy, I bought matching dungarees for my husband and I (much to his dismay) while we started our house renovation. They were perfect, they went over my leggings and jumpers fine. The only downside was that after 2 months the seam that attached the trousers to the braces broke. :( I do intend to repair them as I’m sure it’ll be a quick and easy fix, but a shame that it has to be done. My husband hasn’t worn his as much but he didn’t have a problem with his.

My only complaint is that the buttons were not particularly secure, and there were no spare buttons included with the product. I have already lost one button to a snag on a branch and was unable to find it so have had to purchase a replacement from a local shop
