Ok why only two stars its simple. I bought this coat last September, and only took it out the packaging to start wearing it in September this year. Within three days of wearing it, one of the buttons fell off! Next the shoulders and collar design is such that I cannot get it properly up over the collar of my jacket so end up have to reach behind myself to yank the collar upwards while holding the back of my jacket.
So, today while we have 45+ mph winds in the UK, I wore this coat out. The material on this coat is so finely woven it allows no air to get through whatsoever, so what happens as you walk around your skin can't breathe and you sweat more and more and more. When you get home you are drenched with sweat under your clothes.
I then hung up the jacket and the coat together on one hanger just to discover five hours later that the material of the coat allows absolutely no air to circulate through it at all, so my jacket was still wet from my perspiration, from when I got home at 1.30 pm. I discovered this at 7.30pm!
This coat is possibly suitable for people who just walk a few yards from their house to their car, or from their car to public transport. However because there is no way your skin can breathe when your wearing it if you got for a long walk in it you will sweat like a pig then have to turn the coat inside out so it can dry out afterwards. Even my arms were sweating when I took it off when I got home.
