Great leather jacket

I'd been looking for this type of jacket for a long time. Pilot jacket with knitted cuffs, but regular pockets instead of the usual map pockets with flaps. The leather is really nice and the inside is lined with cotton, instead of polyester like cheaper jackets. I really like to cut of the jacket. I'm only 170cm tall, but I have fairly broad shoulders so I still wear a size L. Usually that means jackets are a bit long (body and sleeves). Because this jacket is cut a little shorter it's perfect for me. It is a slimmer fit and some jackets, but it definitely looks the business.

Ordered Large and XL and both cam out really small.

Purchased a lc930d in black via Amazon.fr for 209 eur, 1st issue the buttons attaching the fur collar fell off within few days, cheap and shoddy thread was used, 2nd issue was that a distinct line almost like a crease was present on jacket which I assumed would disappear once jacket was broken in, it is vastly more noticeable now.

Today I received a 2nd Schott jacket a green CWU 210-100 at a good price from Amazon UK, which seems to be 100% legit Schott but on closer look it is made by a Chinese manufacturer, the materials used are not as good as my other Schott 210-100 and the Chinese jacket is much thinner, uses buttons rather than Velcro and the inside is a muted orange rather than same colour as outside.

So it would appear Schott is also manufacturing in China as well as Europe but with lower quality materials, I'd put money on it that my leather is also Chinese in origin.

Ho acquistato con Black friday quindi sicuramente un prezzo adeguato. Il giacchetto si presenta in una scatola e busta trasparente anonima anche se c'è la stampella Schoot, quello che mi risulta un po' strano è che l'odore classico della pelle è inesistente ed io essendo abituato al vecchio schoot anni 90 mi ricordo un peso notevole mentre questo è leggerissimo neanche un kg. Detto questo il prodotto ha tutte le etichette e comunque un bel giacchetto.

Je confirme le commentaire d'un autre client, ne vous faites pas berner : ce bien beau blouson TAILLE dérisoirement PETIT ! Le 3XL que j'ai commandé n'équivaut guère qu'à un bon gros XL. Je pensais le renvoyer mais finalement, je l'ai donné à mon père, ravi de se remémorer ses folles virées en Vespa, portant un tel cuir.
Si l'on veut rester en Schott, je recommanderais dans la même tranche tarifaire plutôt le LC5100, qui n'a certes pas la coupe aviateur, mais s'avère plus honnête dans son taillage.
Toujours dans la même tranche de prix et de coupe, le Mac Douglas Gerry en 58 (=3XL) taille bien plus grand aussi !
