For the price of the shoes they should be premium but they are not. Yes I’ve had them for 2 1/2 years however, they have had very limited wear. Both shoes are coming apart and I will have to shoe goo them. I was expecting to have these shoes for at least 10 or 20 years. Kind of disappointed. I’m going to switch to Boggs.

Noticed when taking them out of box and examining the shoes the seams or joints did not look to be well sealed or uniform. In fact all of the seams looked to be a little "off" so was wondering about the over all quality. Have had the shoes about a month wearing them 3-5 days a week for a few hours each day. The sole on one of the shoes is starting to separate from the bottom of the shoe. I have owned two pairs of Muck Boot Chore style and have been very pleased with the comfort and quality. These shoes are the Muckster II style. Was looking forward to an easy slip on which these truly are. And the materials seem good too. But will be returning them due to the poorly construction quality.

We buy these yearly for my husband to use for his career field. The last pair we bought 7 months ago and the rubber is busted on the inside of one shoe. Not very impressed that the quality seems to be dropping. I would love for them to last more than a year but I never complained till we hit the 7 month max on the current pair.

Rubbing back of heels

These were my first pair of muck boots and I guess my last pair. This may have been only a problem for me, but I had to return these because they were rubbing the back of my heel to the point that if I kept wearing them I would have blisters even with socks on. There is a exposed vertical seam on the inside of the heel that should be covered or padded.

This was my third pair of muck shoes. I got about two to three years of use out of earlier pairs, which I consider excellent. This pair was purchased in March 2021. Today is April 15, 2021 and the heel of the sole on the left shoe came loose and started flapping. I had to tear the loose part off in order to walk properly. I don't wear them every single day, just when it is raining or is wet outside. I don't recall doing anything weird that might have caused this. If the rest of the sole stays intact I will probably keep using them but it if gets worse I will toss them and not sure if I will replace them. Sad because I really liked my previous much shoes.

When I read the reviews that the quality had declined I didn't want to believe it so I went ahead and bought another pair when I wore a hole thought the last pair after a year of use. Now my new pair I just bought four months ago is already falling apart. I'm so disappointed, I really like these but now I'm going to have to search for a different brand.

My husband loved everything about this Muck boot...style, how it fit, how it felt, etc. He wore them a handful of times before one of the soles peeled off on the toe end. He tried re-gluing it...but no success. He finally bought another pair...but this time he didn't purchase the Muck (brand) boot. I wish they would come with a guarantee or warranty of some kind. :(
