Great coat! I have 4 young boys and bought them a coat each, very warm, great sizing and at such an amazing price! To everyone that complains about the hood fastenings being the same on each side..... that's because they don't fasten to each Other! There are the correct fastenings under the flap next to the zip on each side. I highly recommend these coats

Poor customer service!

Had one of these before and it was great, still looked new after almost 2 years of wear. Bought the green one as my son had outgrown the old one, and he started to wear it at the end of October 2018. The zip was a bit stiff, seems to be small bit of green stitching on the bottom of the zip that meant you really had to pull hard. Didn't affect use though. Come January and all the stitiching umderneath the arm has come undone all along the sleeve. The wadding inside has all shifted after washing as per instructions and there are big lumps all over the back where it has balled up. I'm sure it must just be a defective coat that has been very badly sewn, as the other one of the same design was so good. Unfortunately have been messed about by this seller. First of all it was they would only send a replacement once they received the old coat back.... so expected us to either purchase another coat or let him walk around in winter without one! Then after many weeks of phone calls and Amazon getting involved they said we could have a refund and to send back the coat. Due to the state of the coat we have had to buy another now anyway so agreed to this. Was told we would be emailed the return label, only for them to then turn around and say they won't refund after all as it is past the refund date. Seems this seller thinks it is acceptable for a coat to be falling apart after 2 months of wear. Would never buy from them again!

Delivery wise: I ordered in Saturday morning, delivered the morning of the following day, the fastest I ever had in amazon. Sizewise: I always order medium sizes for any clothing so when the jacket arrived and checked the label, i thought it would be too small because the product label says Medium but it was 38 to 40 inches and my chest is exactly 44inches on a tape measure. I had a shirt and a fleece on when I tried it on and it was a perfect snug. The jacket was very warm and definitely wind proof. The missus liked it and would buy 1 for her. Great value for the price. Highly recommended.

Very glad I bought this! I have worn it several times to watch the grandchildren play their endless football matches on bitter cold outdoor pitches - it paid for itself the first time I wore it!

It looks better on than it does in the pictures, appears very well made, very warm and comfortable - I can confirm it is waterproof and (thank the stars) windproof. Teamed with woolly hat, scarf and gloves I'm as snug as a bug in the rug. Highly recommended purchase for those, who like me prefer warmth and comfort over high fashion.

This jacket was so good, that when I ordered the wrong size for my son, instead of returning it for an exchange, I gave it to my husband as an extra and ordered another for my son. My husband has ditched his expensive jacket and now wears this one all the time; it's more comfortable, more waterproof and looks great. It was also about the cheapest on the page, highly recommended, especially for autumn and winter. Hood comes off, very flexible wear, keeps the wind and rain out, doesn't make you sweat, breathable. Extremely well-made and finished, top marks.

I thought this was a great coat. It is very warm and waterproof. Pockets are all good sizes and in useful places. It is a great coat. However, one of the two I bought burst open underneath the armpit. It wasn't ripped at all. There was no evidence of missuse or even that it had been sewn together at all in the first place. But there it was, a great big hole the entire size of the armpit and some way down both the sleeve and the body. I did manage to sew it easily but I shouldn't have had to. So it got knocked down a bit on the value for money. Once washed it is not as warm as it was before but still waterproof. It lost a star because the general fit is miss shapen. The arms are super long. The cheast is big enough but it seems to taper in as it gets to the hip area. So it tight around the hips. The hood is awkward and doesn't stay up unless you pull the strumings a rediculous amount, but then it is too tight around the face and leaves a mark. One string (elasticated) broke but it hasn't hindered the use of the rest of it.

Although there are some gripes I have with this coat, it really is good where it counts the most, very warm and waterproof!

These are fantastic jackets. I say that with pride as over the years I have purchased either 6 or 7 of them. I initially bought one for my husband and he loved it so when it was time for a new jacket, he asked if it was possible to have the same kind. Purchase number 2. They are cosy and lightweight. When it was time for my son to start school I bought him the same jacket! I usually always buy them in black but this time I bought it in the colour 'Flint' and it's really nice, it's a bit like charcoal. I got this for my hubby's birthday and I liked it so much that I bought my son the same colour. Unfortunately, my son only had his for a few days and doesn't know how but has managed to rip it at the front! He has another one in black but that's too big for him at the moment. I would definitely recommend these jackets.

After searching for a tough, waterproof wand warm boys coat for 3 boys, I bought these. Surprisingly the description doesn't say that these are waterproof. One reviewer said these were waterproof, so I bought them. They arrived very quickly. The tags on the coats say 'waterproof to 2000m'. These are strong, fairly heavy boys coats that they can roll in mud, snow or climb a mountain in. Brilliant.

For the money I paid I'm quite happy. They are very large though, I'm normally a medium or large but in these I could have been a small. I ended up taking in the medium to make it fit better. Size down rather than up I'd say. The cuffs could be better and it could do with a rain/storm flap to cover the zip. It looks bulkier than it really is but seems nice and warm for its weight and the outer material seems strong. It has zipped pockets on the outside which are a reasonable size, a nice outside chest pocket, handy for your mobile and an internal pocket for your wallet. It weighs about 1.1kg and rolls up to the size of a small sleeping bag. It's no fashion jacket but it is a useful jacket for every day wear at a reasonable price but.......very large!

Lightweight, warm and colourful for a good price

Excellent jacket for my 8 year old. I bought it in size 11-12 and it is just slightly larger and longer, but not awkwardly so. This way, he will be able to use it for the next winter as well.
He has repeatedly confirmed it is warm, even in -10 Celsius temperatures.
I like the fact that it is very light, has a great roomy hood and just enough pockets (all zippered) for a child.
I'd like to find a similar one for myself, but couldn't find a similar Trespass model for adults.
It has already been washed once and wife says it washed very well, no changes in appearance.

I highly recommend this jacket for kids, they will love it for being warm, lightweight and colourful.
