Good Product But odd Sizing.

Having acquired a number of Ultrasport products over the years I can attest to the quality of their products, if not a little bland. The compression t-shirt is similar to that assessment also, good in quality bland in design but unfortunately the sizing doesn't seem to correspond with regular European sizing.

It was too small for me and too big for my son, which means it must be somewhere between large boys and small mens, so bear this in mind when ordering as you will need to opt for a bigger size.

That aside though is the only criticism, but sizing is the fundamental aspect of buying clothes, and when purchasing clothes online you have to have confidence in the sizing.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )

This shirt is amazing... it makes me look just like Mr Incredible... but only after he ceased being a super-hero and had spent 15 years behind a desk as an insurance agent!

I have never felt so embarrassed about my shape as I did the first time I put this shirt on and looked in the mirror… and to think I thought I looked a close match for Sean Connery (in his heyday). But instead of being 007 I was a bit more 000 – where each ‘0’ represents a large doughnut.

But at least it’s motivational, it’s got me off my posterior and got me to think of posterity… I want to leave behind a bucket load of fat (sorry kids, it’s not much of an inheritance), so in this regard it’s helpful the material is very lightweight (stamina issues you see).

As for fit, no, I am obviously not! But the shirt does, completely.

To give a better idea, I’m 5’ 10” and 15st (my body thinks BMI stands for “Bacon MUST be Included”), and the shirt hugs every part it reaches, and it reaches quite far (down to my buttocks, sorry, glutes) and it holds the ‘hug’ in every position I can make, for as long as I’m not too fatigued to make it.

Also, it’s especially refreshing there’s no “choke-hold” around my neck, which can be the case with some cheaper compression clothing, so there’s no interference with my panting (err, I mean breathing).

WON OVER BY ITS FUNCTIONALITY

+PRELIMINARY REMARK+
I received a compression shirt from ULTRASPORT in size L as a free test product and was asked to provide an independent and objective review of the product. I tested the t-shirt during jogging and fitness training, but would also definitely wear it in the evening if I was heading out. This is just my experience and impression of the product: due to the compression effect of the shirt, the contours of the body are defined. So if you can afford it, you can show off what you have (or don't have). ;) But not just aesthetically, but also practically, the shirt offers many advantages for sports fans...

*PACKAGING*
the shirt was packed in a plastic bag, delivered to my house inside of a C4-size parcel.

++PRODUCT DESCRIPTION++
At 185 cm and 87 kg, I went for a size L and am very happy with the fit and shape. A good friend with a little more muscle mass tried it on ;) He's 180 cm and 85 kg, and the shirt fitted him perfectly. The chosen colour, 'black', turned out to be a good choice, as I not only like the way it looks and the fact that it goes with almost any outfit, but it's also very practical, as you can't immediately see any stains.

The name 'compression shirt' really suits it, because as soon as you put on the shirt, it becomes skintight and grips your body. However, the compression effect isn't so strong that the shirt feels too tight or could be called uncomfortable or restrictive. The highly elastic material is robust and feels soft to the skin. All in all, the shirt is very comfortable to wear. The flat seams don't chafe with movement.

*FINISH / QUALITY*
The shirt also won me over when it came to its quality finish. The seams are clean and precisely sewn, and even at a close gaze, I couldn't make out any faults in the shirt. The reflective overprint on the left chest area is also of convincing quality.

*FUNCTIONALITY*
Besides the aesthetic compression effect, the 'shirt' offers useful functionality for sports fans. The shirt's material is very breathable and allows sweat to easily pass through it and evaporate. Additionally, due to the way this effectively regulates the body's moisture, there's less danger of becoming hypothermic during sport. In warm temperatures, it has a cooling effect and allows air to circulate. I find it especially important that while wearing the shirt, there are no unpleasant sweaty odours.

*CLEANING / CARE*
The shirt can, in my experience, be washed at 40 degrees without issues. Due to its material, however, the shirt probably isn't suited to tumble dryers or to ironing, which nevertheless doesn't present a problem, as the shirt, due to its design, dries very quickly and is wrinkle-free anyway.

+PHOTOS+
The attached photos are of me and a friend who has a little more muscle mass and comes off a lot better from the shirt's compression effect. ;)

++CONCLUSION++
Short and simple. 5 stars, I'd absolutely recommend you buy it. I don't have a bad word to say about the shirt.

I have a few compression tops and this is a mid range one but that is not a negative. I got this in a medium and I am a 38 to 40 inch chest and this is still fairly snug so I think I could have got away with a large – you may want bear that in mind if ordering. However it is very supportive and has that all important slimming effect – if that is indeed what you are after.

I have worn it five times now and I have given it a wash every time. So far I have not noticed any colour bleed – which is good and as I expected to be honest. It is also flat seamed and has nothing to irritate or scratch the skin. The logo is also flat, unshowy and not in your face which I prefer.

I am finding that I am choosing this over my others as it has long arms and my others are short sleeved. That may change when the weather finally picks up but it is extra stability for the arms which is always nice. All in all a top I feel very happy with and hope to get a lot more use out of it.

Comfort of wear: this fantastic formfitting shirt fits wonderfully over your body and feels great on the skin. It's ideal for sport, as it wicks away moisture, ensuring it doesn't remain on your skin. This means that even after an hour of running or cardio, you still feel fresh. It also keeps you warm if you're out and about in colder temperatures. Due to the flat, barely-there seams, you hardly feel it against your skin, as it clings tightly to your body. Quality: after around 5 washes, the shirt still looks as good as new; it's wrinkle-free and returns to its original shape after washing. It dries incredibly quickly, so you can use it again right away. Would I recommend? Yes, yes, and yes.

This is a tight body fit t shirt.

The anatomical fit gives you the best muscle support and smooths uneven areas.

The T-shirt is particularly comfortable with lots of freedom of movement.

It offers perfect moisture management whist taking part in any sports work.

It has flat seams, printed logo on chest, and non-irritating logo printed on nape.
It is quick-drying.

This T shirt is a great first clothing layer for sports and outdoor activities.

I like it.

Be aware though it is a tight, tight fit.

Sehr gute Qualität, die sich gegenüber wesentlich teueren Produkten nicht verstecken braucht.
Bei der Größenauswahl sollte man die Größe wählen, die man ansonsten auch bei einem T-Shirt verwendet. Ich hatte mich da erst ein wenig vertan und statt einer XL eine L bestellt. Ich habe zwar reingepasst, aber so viel "Kompression" musste nicht sein. Also habe ich es zurückgeschickt und dafür eine XL genommen. Die passte dann auch wie eine zweite Haut. Beeindruckt war ich von der Geschwindigkeit des Rücktausches. Ich habe die Ware vormittags erhalten, anprobiert, festgestellt zu eng, eingepackt und gegen 12 Uhr retourniert. Ob man es nun glaubt oder nicht, am nächsten Tag, also circa 24 Stunden später, war das neue Shirt da! Das heißt, alleine die Ankündigung des Rücktausches hat schon den Vorgang des Austausches angestoßen. Da der Artikel inzwischen um 1,70 Euro günstiger geworden war, bekomme ich die Restsumme auch zurück!
Also für diese Aktion nochmal 1o Sterne extra!

Hallo,

da ich passende Kleidung zum Rennen in den Wintermonaten gesucht habe, bin ich hier fündig geworden.

Getestet habe ich dies bisher bis zu -8 Grad Celsius. Es ist zwar nicht besonders dick, nach einiger Zeit laufen spürt man aber die Kälte nicht mehr. Jeder Mensch ist verschieden, deshalb rate ich zum Ausprobieren.

Das Shirt erfüllt voll und ganz meine Ansprüche.
