Good trousers. Should buy a size smaller. The tighs are too large for me on size 42 when size 40 in the UK at department stores is too small on the waist.

I am sorry that I thought I had returned this item and that you did not refund me. Actually, my wife never posted the package. My bad :|

In fact, the product seems very good, only it is too large. My intention was to return it and by a smaller size. I am ashamed that I though wrong of this supplier.
This pair of trousers is made with a literally cool fabric, that breathes and does not accumulate heat. Furthermore, the waist has a clever system to stretch if necessary without compromising the cut. Thus you can (and should) buy a size smaller and still benefit from a good fit.
I recommend it and my sincere apologies for thinking wrong of Haggar. If the size had been right I would have given you 5 star.

Due to side effects of medication and a somewhat variable workout schedule, I have a highly fluctuating weight and waistline. I bought these to keep up with those changes and to keep fitting comfortably. When I am at my best, they fit with no elastic expansion. When I put on weight, I can see the elastic expanding as I do them up yet they still fit comfortably.

I have had 3 pairs of Haggar pants bought 4 years ago and they have been my favourite pants. They are still in great shape except that I recently ripped one of them on a nail and damaged another, so I decided to buy four more pairs.

I find them very cool to wear in the heat and humidity and yet they provide enough warmth for winter wear in Southern Ontario - depending on what you are doing. I will wear them when out for a walk, shopping or for short times outside. But I would not wear them in winter for snow sports or sitting at an outdoor skating rink watching a hockey game! These are comfortable and they look good as well. My shirt stays tucked-in. And they wash up well.

I've read a number of reviews for these pants and it's evident that some of these people did not know want they were buying? No, they don't keep you warm, they keep you cool. That's why they are called "Cool 18". That's why they are ultra light and made with thin material. Think summer. Think hot. That's what these pants were designed for. They are not made to keep you warm.
With that in mind, I love these pants. They more than met my expectations. They fit as expected and look great…like quality dress pants, even though they are super light 100% polyester. I purchased them to wear on a tropical cruise on hot formal nights with dress shoes, a light-weight blazer, short-sleeved dress shirt and tie... on formal nights (yes, it’s okay not to wear a tux these days) and I believe they will do the job well. Haggar did a great job with these. They look great, stylish, and classy. Someone would have to look very close to even tell they are light-weight polyester. They claim to be washable; we will see about that. If they still look this good after washing, I will be buying another pair.
