This is an excellent case, looks really smart in cobalt blue. I previously bought the 2018 10th edition cover for my new 2019 Kindle not realising the 10th edition 2019 Kindle is slightly smaller so the Kindle did not fit, in fact it fell out of the cover. I returned it and reordered. I now have the correct size 3days later!! It is possible a lot of people will fall into the same trap so beware. Kindle should have made the smaller 2019 version model 11 to avoid confusion. Let me reiterate if you bought the 2018 10th edition Kindle it is larger than the 2019 10th edition so make sure you buy the 2019 10th edition smaller cover for a 2019 10th edition Kindle. There are very few 2019 covers advertised as yet and a great number of 2018 10th edition larger covers on sale in Amazon. Yes it is confusing AMAZON!!

Sandstone white reveals cover is defective

I bought this cover in sandstone white for The all-new 2019 Kindle that comes with a built-in light. It arrived in good condition however over time I noticed little rectangle and circle marks appearing and getting worse. I thought maybe I had done something but the marks were identical on the inner and outer of the case as seen in the pictures. I returned and got a replacement in same colour sandstone white. Not even a week and the same happened again, little rectangle and circle marks. I contacted Amazon who were excellent as always and refunded my money. I asked Amazon to look into this defect as I would like to have this case on my kindle as it looks great. If you have a darker colour you may not notice this as much but it’s still likely there. I can only presume the magnets in the kindle have some kind of impact on the cases magnets and glued parts..

Well made & seems like good quality material. Does add a lot of weight to the unit though which does take away one of the plus points of the kindle, and increases arm/hand fatigue during long reading sessions.

Another issue is the bottom/ corners of the front case flap is a sharpish edge which rubs against & irritates your little finger in the usual "phone grip" style hold when being supported from below. When the kindle is caseless the edges are smooth and dont dig in.

Overall i think staying caseless is probably best when in use & a pouch/slip style holder may be better to protect when in a bag or back pocket etc.

This fabric cover for the new "not so basic" Kindle fits like a glove and provides some good protection, especially for the screen although it should be noted that the ends of the Kindle (top and bottom) aren't covered by the case. It feels nice to hold, with the woven fabric texture, and opening the front cover will wake up your Kindle so you can start reading straight away - just like when you open a book. It is also easy to get the Kindle in and out if you like reading your Kindle without a cover on at all. An excellent addition to the new Kindle.

Very nice and sturdy but it is very expensive for what it is! I know I could have bought a cheaper make but I like these ones so I splashed out, however I can't afford another one yet, I usually like 2 covers so I can change them. This one will have to wait
