About Free Returns On Fashion Items

Amazon.co.uk offers free returns on some items including clothes, shoes, jewellery and watches. Look for “Free returns” next to the price to confirm that the item qualifies for free returns.

Free Returns on Eligible Product(s)

Extended Returns Information: For the 2020 holiday season, items that are eligible for return and are shipped between October 1st and December 31st can be returned until January 31st, 2021. Our returns policy will revert to the standard 30-day period for items delivered after 31 December, 2020.

  • If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return eligible product(s), within 30 days of receipt, for a full refund in accordance with our Returns Policy.
  • No minimum purchase is required to receive Free Returns.
  • Amazon will provide a printable pre-paid return label and pay for the return delivery costs. To return an item, please visit our Returns Support Centre.
  • Products must be returned in new and unworn condition, with all original packaging, tags, and certificates of authenticity. Any product(s) returned without their original packaging and documentation will be rejected.
  • Any product(s) that have been resized, altered or otherwise damaged after delivery will not be accepted for return.

Please review the following terms and conditions to check if your purchase qualifies for free return delivery:

  • At the time of purchase, on the product's detail page, the product was clearly identified as eligible for "FREE Returns".
  • The item was originally delivered to an address in the UK and is being returned from within the UK.
  • The item is being returned within 30 days and in accordance with our Returns Policy.
  • The item was sold and dispatched by Amazon, or sold by a third party seller and was dispatched by Amazon ('Fulfilled by Amazon').
  • If you return product(s) that are ineligible for free returns with product(s) that are eligible for free returns, Amazon may deduct the postage costs for the ineligible products(s) from your refund amount in accordance with Amazon's general Returns Policy.
  • We cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand.

Products Purchased from The Drop

  • If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Collection items, you can return the product(s), within 30 days of receipt. As Collection pieces purchased from The Drop are made-on-demand for you, return costs will be incurred for Collection items. Where Collection items are defective, damaged or incorrect, you'll receive a full refund, including the return delivery fee. You cannot exchange Collection items.
  • If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Staples by the Drop items, you can return the product(s) for free, within 30 days of receipt, in exchange for a full refund in accordance with our Returns Policy. Damaged or Defective Items

International Returns

  • If you return items eligible for free returns that were delivered to an address outside of the UK, and the reason for the return is not because of an error on our part and the item is not defective, we will not refund the cost of returning these items.
  • The Returns Support Centre will guide you through our Returns Policy and provide you with a printable personalised return label.

Sizing Information

It is possible that some fashion items may be labelled according to US or EU sizing conventions. If you receive footwear, clothing, jewellery or a watch that appears to be labelled in a different size than what was ordered, please be sure to try on the item to confirm the incorrect size before returning the item to us.

Exchanging Shoes or Clothing

If you'd like to exchange an item, visit the Returns Support Centre. An exchange option will display if the product eligibility criteria are met. See About Exchanges and Replacements for more information on exchange eligibility.


  • If you're exchanging the original item for a different size, we will not cover any price increase.
  • If the new price is lower, for either size or colour, we'll refund you the difference.
  • If the item you wish to return does not have an exchange option, you will need to return the original item and place a new order.
