Customer Review

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 July 2019
Firstly, there is a noticeable noise coming from the headphone when sitting in silence (I returned a pair thinking that it was a faulty pair but got the exact same issue on the new pair), I wear my qc35 II every day, often sitting in silicene while I work, then watching the odd youtube video and then taking calls. Furthermore when on the plane I often sleep with QC35 on because of the noise cancellation - however, unless your playing music constantly then all you will hear is a slight wind sound in your hear! Very annoying - maybe overcompensating noise cancellation? I compared a tune with my QC35 just now and noticed that the bass has been massively toned down, the QC35 you can feel the vibrations and the base but the 700's just flat lined. All the headline features are working well though, touch controls and Bluetooth 5 gives me the extra range over the QC35s so when I have a knock on the door I can keep the 700s on whilst the QC35s I need to take off otherwise I'd lose connection. With Blu tooth 5 I expected aptx this is super important when watching with the TV, as the lag is annoying heavens knows why they didn't include it. There is a slight clamping force on my ears only slight but once you notice it you will keep checking. I opened the box with open arms and welcoming them into my life with love but they've let me down. Bose says these do not have superior audio to the QC35 and is about the same quality, which isn't the case at all, the sound quality is actually inferior for sure. I'm not annoyed that I've bought these and lost money because I can return them easily, but I am annoyed that I will have to wait a few years before Bose's next generation. If sony can make a headset as comfortable as the QC35 so the cups sit around my ear and have dual Blu tooth pairing then I'm gone for sure. Bose get your act together FAST.

08/10/2019 Update - I ended up exchanging them, the headphones I received back worked great for a few months and then today they died, I tried to reset them with bose customer service but they wouldn't power back on - It's definitely a software issue that basically bricked my headphones.
