Not funny, its anti-funny - sort of soul-sucking in an irritating way, It's the story of a selfish child-man who treats everyone appallingly, but because the female 'characters' - I use that word loosely as none of the female 'characters' has any depth beyond the stereotype of 'long suffering wife' or 'troubled teen' - anyway these 'characters' serve no function other than to help move on this man's narrative, while inexplicably not telling him to just get lost for being such an arse. I can see the pitch for this 'let make it a coming of age story - but get this - for a (past) middle aged man! - yeah, cool - having him hanging around with a teenage girl wont look pervy at all, but it will give the dads something to fantasize about when it looks like she might fancy him.
