Customer Review

I've been wearing clogs similar to these since the 70's and reckon I've only had about four pairs in all that time - one of which is still in use. I'm writing this review on the assumption that you're already a clog wearer and want to know what these ones are like. If you're not, you'll be fine too.

I like these Vollsjö clogs although they're a bit different to my earlier ones. These have nubuck uppers, so they're not shiny leather like the old ones. The soles are made from poplar with rubber treads, whereas the other ones are alder. Poplar makes them a bit lighter, both in weight and colour, and not quite as smooth on the outside. The insides have been very nicely sanded. The Vollsjö ones don't have a dip for my big toe, so they feel different to wear but no different to regular shoes in that respect. I have wide feet, but these clogs are wide enough for me; they're snug rather than loose, so you might want to consider a size up if you like your clogs on the big side.

I've given them four stars because I've only been wearing them for a few days and they still feel a bit 'different'. If you wear the same pair of clogs for decades you'll know what I mean. I think they're good value.
