This is a very shocking and thought provoking documentary. This focuses on the victims and what happened that day, it doesn't glorify the shooter who isn’t named throughout, although you may notice the name on the newspaper shots. Carlos Amezcua, a TV journalist recounts an interview with the shooters wife which gives some context about the shooters state of mind. The documentary interviewer doesn't hold back on his questions considering the length of time it took to kill the shooter. But having watched the documentary and heard from the police I can say that personally I feel they did the best they could do on a horrific day, a shooter with powerful weapons in close proximity to people.
Please note that this documentary is not for the faint hearted. There is very graphic footage of all of the dead bodies inside the restaurant, some of which you see several times, including young children and a baby. Please do not watch if this will be too much for you to cope with, as once you have seen the bodies, you cannot forget them.
