Customer Review

There's a fair bit of choice about if you fancy an M-65 jacket and you only have to spend a few moments reading Amazon reviews to realise that sizing is an issue for some people. I'm a skinny six footer and I've now tried three different M-65s available on Amazon. Here are my findings:

'Surplus' jacket is great quality but a very generous fit, especially in the arms which are really wide.

'Mil-Tec' jacket is also very good quality. Lightweight compared to the others, but still very solid. I would say this is the best quality garmet of the three. Small size was a decent fit on the body, but the arms were too short. Medium would have been too big in the body.

'Brandit' feels more like a fashion garment than the others, which both have a rugged army surplus feel. So a bit less authentic feeling, but the fit was much better for me. Small was nicely fitted with the waist cinched in and the arms were a sensible width.

Which is best? Depends what you're after and your body type. All three are well made and very warm with the liner in. Skinny dudes are probably going to want to choose the Brandit. Meatier gents and folk who want the most authentic army flavour might want to look at the others.

I returned the other two and kept the Brandit. Great jacket for the momey.
