I own 13 superdry coats from windcheaters/pea coats/Everest parkers/bomber jackets, in various sizes. I have found they used to have a consistently decent quality and cheap cost, often on sale and always good looking.

Having put on some weight I decided to get this xxxl windcheater. I'm 6"3' for reference. Immediately I noticed this coat could do with an extra inch of length. From my shoulders pulled downwards; the bottom of my coat reaches the bottom of my belt buckle. Bit weird, as I don't have that issue with the 2 other windcheaters I own, it's moreso similar to my windcheater bomber jacket!

Anyway that aside the jacket isn't very thick. It's fleece lined, but the thinnest fleece I've ever seen. My 5 year old fleece lined windcheater from my younger years is still thicker than this despite years of abuse.

The ribbed cotton cuffs don't have the thumb hole anymore. I personally liked it, but it's not as much a big a deal as how loose the elastic is. There's no tension! It'll sit so loose around your wrist that any gust will get in. So much for a windcheater!

The pockets are lined with the thinnest nylon known to man, I swear my older windcheater pockets were fleece lined. To give credit where it's due, the inner pocket is a great addition.

The zips are now just standard metal zips. The hood it actually quite nice, and the branding is inconspicuous.

In all, I wish we could have the superdry from the old days. I really feel like their products are getting worse. The other day I sent back a Parka which was terrible, and now this sub par windcheater (which I'll probs keep, although I may need to find a new brand to buy into).
