Price change increase problem, read review

Arrived well packaged, happy with shoes, enough to order a second pair a week later, for the same shoe size, colour, and perhaps a different colour from the same seller, price had gone from mid £20's to over £50....inunder 7 days, how? Why? What's going on here? So cheesed off as it's not a £50 shoe, i.e. no leather soles, just plastic, but ok for the original price. Beware of this con, hence ratings given.

If you have high arches and your order size 7 you will be lucky if you can get your feet in the shoes as they are so tight . I think made for a stick insect with thin skin and bone feet . Yes ! you get what you pay for and I paid just over £22.00, but lucky for me ....... as the price changed dramatically afterwards . The heels are too hard, very uncomfortable and would not recommending the product at any price as their is no give in the fabric or outer leather . Better off buying a good quality more expensive pair of loafers.

Allow for Sizing - order 1 size smaller than true size

As repeatedly stated below, the marked sizing is NOT accurate. My feet are 9 1/2 or (if shoe design is narrow) 10 (i.e. Euro 44) so per the advice in other reviews below, I ordered a size 9 (Euro 43) and the shoes fit perfectly, being comfortably wide.

Sourced from India, the quality appears not to be quite as good as Weejuns (sourced from Brazil), notably the inner lining, where the sponge-backed area at the front of the shoe is slightly lumpy. But the quality of the leather upper - a highly-polished black in my case - is impressive.

Value for money is reasonable if under £40 and very good at under £30. And if like me, you buy when Amazon's continuously-fluctuating price drops below £20, they are an absolute bargain.

First they are large size. If you size 8 go for a 7 might find better fit.
Colour as others said is a shinny dark brown nothing like stated .(why dont they just change colour on advert save all negative reviews Doh!)
Will use with shorts for occasional wear.
As said fair price so good buy.

Good value, but not a typical penny loafer

I find that Italian penny loafers and Bass Weejuns tend to look better and become more comfortable the more they are worn, becoming almost like slippers. These don't have that quality; but then they are less than half the price of my usual choice. For this reason I think 4 stars is fair, but it's 4 stars at the price, and I will be buying a pair of the oxbloods.
