These are a well made and comfortable smart sandal which are perfect for holiday season.

The sole is pretty well cushioned for a sandal and the leather is nice and soft on the tops of your feet so as not to rub when you're walking around in them.

They have two buckles on each foot which require some adjusting to make sure you get the right balance between keeping them on your feet but also not being uncomfortable. Once I'd got that right they are nice and easy to slip on and off whilst still sturdy when you're on the move.

Underneath they are well gripped with a kind of criss cross effect which is quite attractive. The grips seem well made and built to last.

Really pleased with these sandals, have given them 4 starts as they are potentially expensive for what they are but if you're looking for a well made and comfy pair of summer sandals then you can't really go wrong with these.

These find sandals come packaged in a strong cardboard box, ie: the traditional shoe box, which is good to see. The design is also quite traditional, and in style they are neither antiquated, nor ultra-modern, but pleasantly cool. When I opened the box, to my surprise… there was only one sandal inside, the right foot only. The left foot was nowhere to be seen. How can the factory pack just one sandal? Ridiculous. A sad mystery.

The leather uppers is a refined black colour, satin sheen, and with a perfect finish. The leather is not the thickest quality, nor extremely thin, but nevertheless on the thin side of medium. Because the leather is thinnish, one wonders how long they will last… my guess is a couple of seasons. The stitching is doubled and looks reasonably strong. the metal matching black buckles are on the thin side of medium and I suspect they will bend slightly in time. The sole is rubber, again on the thin side of medium, but it has an interesting jazzy pattern, which is non-slip. There is virtually no heel and what there is, is 1.5 cms maximum in height and more or less continuous with the sole. So, if you need a heel, this design will not provide it for you. I found the sandal fairly comfortable to walk about in, with and without socks, but was always conscious of the thinness of the sole. There is desperately little spring in them.

The sandals are flip on, flip off, which makes hurrying and running in them problematic, if not impossible. Personally, I prefer a back strap to prevent sandals from slipping off. The leather buckle straps have 5 holes, so you will be able to adjust them for differences in width of feet. Overall, they are of average quality, but with a nice finish. The fact that there was only one sandal in the box, makes them pretty useless. So, 1 star only sadly. If there had been two sandals, they would be evaluated as 3 stars.

Very decent flip flop style open toe sandles these. They are nice and adjustable so whether you have wider, narrower, shorter or longer feet you should be able to find a perferct fit. I'm a size 9 and found I needed to loosen one buckle on each sandle to achieve an ideal fit. That done they are very comfotable with a nice bit of spring to them. All the stitching appears well done and the man made sole should last a long time. In bare feet they stay on as required, but with with socks they will tend to slip off.......not a bad thing if that discourages wearing the sandles with socks. A bit pricier than some equivalent sandles on the market, but it you like the look, which I do, they're worth that bit extra.

As a frequent traveller, I would say this pair of sandals are "economy" quality. Just okay, they might see me through a few months at the most. They resemble sandals that one buys out of sheer necessity on the roadsides in the Far East when you encounter a mishap with your trusted holiday shoes.

The leather upper is quite thin with a patent finish. There's a good grip on the sole. They are a little on the narrow side, but there is buckles to loosen.
