How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Lets be honest, these are cheap Redwings, and as the title says, you get what you pay for... and a little more.
Surprisingly comfortable, incredibly light, and look really nice on. A little large, even with a thick pair of socks, but I'm okay with that as it healps wearing them in and keeps them comfy. And they wear in surprisingly quick.
The one downside has been noted, the heavy stiching comes undone at the join to from the top of the toe section to the leather that holds the eyelets (see other user pictures below). My advice, check this, frequently... at the first sign this is happening...
I rethreaded the heavy stitch using a darning needle. Theres no space to tie that off, but, I superglued the end of the thread to the inside of the boot, then super glued the top two stitches in place too.
Absolutely no probkems since.
For the money, these are an incredibly good pair of boots (so long as you nip the stitching issue in the bud early on).

Okay, Boots delivered very promptly.. Uppers are actually leather, which is somewhat rare in this price range . Stitching around sole to uppers appears good. Have applied water proofing , but not yet worn in wet conditions as yet. Size of a UK 9 was generous and wide fitting.. I would suggest maybe an 8 and a half would have done me.. However have made up with an insole and use of thick walking socks. Boots are lighter than they look and comfortable shock absorbing soles, which is a pleasure for my knees. If soles are hard wearing then I would think i chose a very good pair at a good price too and then confirm a five star rating

The leather is very thin. Theyre pretty stiff at first and are a little roomy. Im a size 12 and theres alot of room inside but i think a thick pair of socks would fix it. The stitching eventually broke and the foam soles wore out within 6 weeks of normal wear. Not worth the £60+ pricetag. Not even worth the £30 i paid for them at the time

Not a true size 8 which I ordered , love the look , game slightly two different shades in colour , should of sent back really but needed boots , soul is soft ! Grip non existent virtually gone already and only had 4wks ! Lovely looking boot , not hard wearing , more of a fashion statement , if you can afford red wings ! Buy them...
Again you get what you pay for.

I am a Barber and I stand all day for long hours. I’ve worn these boots for one week straight out of the box. There really comfortable very light and roomy the size runs large in my opinion I’ve fitted a innersole in mine and it’s like wearing trainers. I normally spend far far more on boots and truthfully these are on par for comfort so Iam a happy chappie and build quality seems decent 👍

The pros:
. Very comfortable fit and walking. The inside and both the inner and outer sole are very smooth and comfy.
. they look and feel good :)
. Very light boots
The cons:
. The leather (real of fake, not sure) is not the best quality. Very thin and stiff, like cardboard, and it seems it’s gonna break anytime soon.
. Stitching is not great/resistant either. I’ve used them a couple of times and stitching on the upper front is starting to show signs of eventual rupture.
Would still buy them, but the price (63.55£) is a bit exaggerated for the overall quality.
