I ALWAYS take a size 9, but my toes were hard against the end of these shoes in size 9. I returned them and ordered a 9.5, but again I could still just feel the end of the shoe.
It is a real nuisance, but I do like the shoes so I have now ordered a size 10 as a last resort - let's hope these actually fit when they arrive!! Hope you find this helpful.
Finally, make sure you place an order with free returns or it will be an unexpected additional cost!!
Cons: They are not waterproof in the slightest.
The shoes are very slippy on most surfaces, especially on wet stone.
The spiney material rubbed against the opposite shoe occasionally when walking which wore them down very quickly.
The soles also wore down fast.
The glue was lack luster with the shoes splitting.
This was all within a month of use.
