I usually wear jeans as workwear, just so you know where I'm coming from. These pants don't have the stiff, heavy feel you get on jeans. The material seems softer than khakis I've worn in the past. The "security pocket" is a zippered phone-sized pocket behind the right-front pocket. If you leave it unzipped, your hand will probably go into the security pocket instead of the main pocket -- minor annoyance. Pockets are roomy. There's a little mini pocket at the bottom of the main pocket that I use for my thumb drive. I've never before used the word 'pocket' so much in a single paragraph.

Fit was good, maybe a little looser in the waistband than I expected. I'm 6-ft, ordered the 32-inch inseam. Length seems correct for my height (hems fall just over the arch of my foot, don't drag in the back, and only rise a little when I sit down).

Not sure how rugged they are, but the material seems at least as thick as jean denim, but much more comfortable to wear. Wrinkle-free so far. I'm pleased and would buy again.

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. They fit really well. Usually, we have trouble finding the right size for him. He's a big guy and wears a 48x29. Usually, he has to go with 48x30 or 48x29 neither of which work out. Usually they are too long or too tight or if he buys bigger, they just look baggy and unkept, even if pressed and creased.
These Dockers fit perfect. They stretch but don't have that "stretch pant" look. They move with the body and have have a tailored appearance. They are a straight leg, so keep that in mind. However, straight leg pants are IN right now and he looks fashionable. He has already had four compliments and he's only wore them once. :) I bought him the Khaki colored ones.
He liked them so much and I liked them on him that We ordered two more pairs: black and "storm" (gray).
Just be sure to check the sizing. They won't disappoint.

I ordered these because I needed some khakis in 42x36. Why is it that manufacturers think that Big & Tall is a term meaning small waist & tall, or larger waist & short? Since when does a man shrink in his inseam as his waist gets larger? Apparently most pant makers think once a guy is over a 40 waist, he's short too. Anyway...about these pants, which DO come in a 42x36. These are the most comfortable pants I've ever owned. I was apprehensive about buying a pant made from "stretchy" fabric. I expected a weird looking finish. Nope. These look like regular khaki fabric, but fit and move like a dream. So I ordered black too :)

I love these pants - As I get older (60 next year) I find these are so much more comfortable - Great for sitting at a desk for long periods, Driving. They stretch with you and that is a luxury. I would give them 5 stars but for one major caveat - After having several pairs, you need to order at least 2-4 inches longer. My length for the lat 30 years is 32.25 inseam. I ordered 32's first - After washing a few times they are now like 30's and you must really stretch them lengthwise prior to wearing. I ended up buying 34's in this order. After several washes, they are now like 31" inseams. I think the next order will be 36 inch length. Seriously!! I love them but the length shortens after each wash.

The best thing I can say about these pants is that they cover my body. Other than that, I would never recommend these to anyone.

The fabric is rough on the skin to the point of being painfully abrasive after wearing them all day. The waistband is inordinately wide, it sticks up a good inch above my belt. (My belt is an inch wide.) The problem with the waistband is so bad that I don't feel comfortable wearing the pants with my shirt tucked in. Since I bought these to wear them to work, the ugly waistband has made them useless to me. I will be donating them to Goodwill. Maybe someone can buy them for a dollar or two and upcycle them by cutting them into cleaning rags.

Dockers used to make a decent pair of work pants. After this experience, though,I may never purchase dockers again.

very comfortable fabric to wear. I would order another pair were it not for the fact, as others have observed, that unless you're very tall, the pant legs, in profile, resemble a fat-man cartoon. The rear-most point of the wearer's behind, down to the rear-most point of the bottom of the cuff are a straight line... (imagine a right-triangle with the hypotenuse being the straight line described)... not at all flattering if you have slim legs and large waist. The shorter inseam you have (mine is 28) the more exaggerated is the unwanted effect. I'm 5' 5" and I can't imagine anyone shorter than I liking these slacks.
But the design is fine. Zippered front right pocket is very nice. Sufficient belt loops, and wonderful stretch material accommodates bending and stretching. Plan on locating a tailor to take in the voluminous balloon of material under your rear "cheeks". I suspect that's easier said than done.

I got a 30 length cause 32 dragged under my heel but these 30 are like high water pants plus I never seen that one pair was cotaroy on line but they were once they got here so I said I will deal with it til I seen the tags and it was in Chinese writing then I knew that they make everything smaller so that's why the pants was short but I just wear them with boots now the waist is a lil big what made me think I loss weight but as I said in China their measurements are way different ....so if you start to buy your clothes from China then I just won't buy clothes from Amazon any longer now my shirts was 3xl but when I put them on it was like a 2xl then again as I said China measurements are a lot smaller then USA sizes

These are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. I'm a big guy and I don't like clothes that fit too tight but I also don't want things to be too baggy. These pants fit the bill perfectly. They look nice and are just stretchy enough but not too stretchy. They also feel very sturdy and I expect they'll last a long time. I'm planning on buying two more pair!

They are Dockers. Beyond the obvious, the stretch property makes a huge comfort difference in the course of a day. Security pocket is functional. I had mine shortened, so I can't comment on length as delivered. I have both khaki & grey. Khakis look new. Grey shows fading at seams and pockets (looks like wear from friction, although it is not) after 4 washings. I wear them while in Latin America to dress respectfully without looking like a gringo who thinks he's on safari, so the "wear" isn't a problem. But at the country club, they might ask if you're here to fix the sink. BTW, they are double thickness.

I have purchased a few pairs of these pants they are extremely comfortable. The only thing is they shink after a few washings. Order the legs one size longer than your normal and you should be good. I am typically a 44x32. But find that a 44x34 fits like they should after a few turns in the laundry.
