Yes, I think the size is normal, I bought 9UK shoes and they are fit and comfortable, The sole is both flexible and non-slip.

I train in Martial Arts and Strength, I find them excellent, they are both responsive enough to spar in and thin enough to powerlift in, yet comfortable enough to run in for extended distances. they are currently one of my favourite all-around shoes.

Having bought for cycling I felt they were too light and flimsy . I personally would not recommend them for hill walking.

It depends. Most pavements yes however I would be extremely careful considering there's often glass laying about on street pavements. I would also recommend a good pair of waterproof socks just in case you were unfortunate enough to step on anything. No. They're designed to be worn in the water. They are breathable and dry very quickly. The insole can be removed, aiding the drying process and speed.
