Unlike many other clogs and shoes I have found that Briers clogs are exactly the right size. My size is a UK 11 (as measured somewhere like Clarks) and Briers 11 fit perfectly. Hope this helps. Pete.

Yes the iinersole come out easily for cleaning. Mine have not got dirty to have to put in washing machine. The surface of inersole can easily be wiped with a damp cloth but don't know about putting in washing machine.

They are made from rubber...just like wellingtons - but in the form of a slip-on clog....and they are so easy to run under the tap to clean wipe with a rag or old brush. However, I'm pretty sure they would be ok in the washing machine - but remove the shaped insole first as it may lose it's supportive shape. These clogs are the lightest, most comfortable pair of gardening shoes (or any shoes for that matter!). They are easily slipped on and off when you come in from the garden..and yet they stay perfectly in place whilst wearing them. They've never fallen off! They are the one of the best things I have ever bought. I loved mine so much that I bought my husband a pair..and he never fails to slip them on when going outside....so easy-peasy. He loves them as much as I do now!
I have a very narrow foot and my usual size was a bit big, so I got an extra orthotic insole which made them fit perfectly. see less
