No. They have a mesh top and side. And note I would not describe them as a running shoe.

You could try packing them out with the flannels all rolled up socks and putting them in the washing machine, or you could pack them out with cardboard and use a soft warm water and soap sponge to sponge them down on the outside and let them dry naturally, give that a try Liam and see how that works

I'd go half a size bigger if possible, however once you've warn them in a day or two. They feel much more comfortable

Yes laces need tying. I would not recommend these trainers for autistic person as they are very frustrating to get on.
